Has to be almost 3 months now and still have not received it.
We filed electronically and it came within a week or two.
My parents are retired and as far as I know they haven’t received a check yet. According to the calculator their married filing jointly status puts them under the limit so I’m not sure what the hold up is.
Yes. Couldn’t file electronically due to a W-2 with zero taxable income (employee health benefit filing).
Yes. I will receive $0.0 COVID-19 stimulus bucks, which are actually a “tax credit” for 2020, but am due about $500 bucks for 2019, and I filed electronically in early February. Glad to know it’s not just me.
paper returns are being processed last. irs employees are mostly working from home and are working on electronic returns.
Is the OP asking about a regular federal tax return check or a CoVid check? We got a tax return check, and dont qualify for a CoVid check by about 10k. So be it.
I already got mine because I went to the site and entered my banking info, but I got a form letter not long ago, signed by President Trump that the rest of the checks will be mailed shortly.
I mailed my paper return in early March, and still haven’t received my refund. I called the IRS yesterday, and after being in hold for 45 minutes, finally talked to a customer service rep. She said the center my return went to just opened back up June 1, and to give it another 6-8 weeks before they get to it.
Next time I guess I’ll have to file electronically.
My check equals my GPA: “Zero. Point. Zero.”
I have filed electronically and put bank account info on Turbo Tax for years. Most years my return arrived in a few weeks. I suppose returning excess deductions for the “rich” are not considered as important as handouts.
Go to the IRS website and put in your bank account info for direct deposit and if you are eligible they send it rather quickly. They had a page set up just for refund checks, I would think they still have it up and running.
Filed March 7, still waiting.
I have a sister who is an IRS goon, she says there is no one in their offices processing returns.
That was lucky for me. I wouldn’t have been eligible for a stimulus check if they had processed my 2019 return.
Paper forms are mandatory if an attachment is required.
DON’T DO THIS if you have already filed a mail in return!
You are tactically screwed as they will not touch any mail in returns for another 5-6 weeks.
Filling in the “no account info” will require you to lie that you have not filed a return and can be actionable.
IRS.......
Mine was deposited to my bank account last Friday.
I read that the ability to do that had expired May 13th.
I believe that. I filed in January and they still have not processed my return. They managed to cash the check in Jan., though.
I’m talking about a paper check....i have serious reserves about giving my account to the feds.
Not like they don’t have it anyways but ya know..
Thanks everybody glad to know i’m not the only one.
Maybe i should get interest on my wait....HAHAHA
Only kidding..
