What are the repercussions if Antifa is officially terrorist group?

Posted on 05/31/2020 11:49:08 AM PDT by MNDude

Any legal experts here? What does the terror group really mean? How can they be treated differently in the legal system?

What is the military allowed to do with them now?

What about with those who finance Antifa?

TRUE! If the cops cannot catch this one, they need to resign.

If Antifa was designated a terrorist organization, the progressive left in government would flip their wigs and poop their red diapers.

Agreed. I was thinking if my liberal friends properties were destroyed maybe they would think twice about whom they vote for. Wishful thinking on my part.

Agreed.

vg0va3 gave a pretty good explanation though.

By defining them as a domestic terrorist organization the government can treat as they treat the MAFIA through RICO. This allows for the ability to track their phones, money, people, and actions more aggressively.

I'm thinking a bunch of them are "trust fund babies". I wonder what happens if an Antifa is arrested, and there is evidence that the parents knew their kid was engaged in Antifa activities?

Can the parent, who buys stuff for their Antifa kid, be indicted for "providing material support for a terrorist organization", and have all the parents assets seized? Even if the case was ultimately lost, it WOULD send a message to the leftist parents.

That would be Robert Creamer. He is the husband of Illinois rep and committed communits Jan Shakowski. You can see him an his cronies in Project Veritas videos from 2017, and they describe what they’re planning for 2020, and wouldn’t you know, this is it.

Antifa has significant support inside all levels of state and federal government, and the Dem party as a whole is sympathetic to them, just as they were with “occupy”. Among the far left, like Ellison, Omar, AOC, etc, they are pretty close allies. It’s unlikely they will actually be treated as a terrorist organization any more than the Muslim Brotherhood. The left sees Antifa as the activist wing of their anti-Trump movement. They are much worse than that.

Antifa who are identified & caught should get a 2- part sentence if convicted. Part one is about 15-20 strokes with a rattan cane so they will remember what they did. Part two would be a normal sentence for the crime committed....preferably 2 back to back life sentences. Put them in Gitmo as long as there’s vacancies.

Sure, the parents could be part of the organization. Look at the MAFIA.

If anyone is party to the organizations effort to commit criminal behavior they will be rolled up too.

They may think that little Jodie and Suzy Rotten Crotch were just playing a little political mischief. But, RICO can bite their butts. Just look at how Rudy used it against the mob.

"Giuliani decided to prosecute the leaders of the families and their upper-level cohorts together under the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, or RICO, for allegedly conspiring to commit felonies including contract murders, loan sharking, extortion, labor racketeering and drug trafficking. It was the first time RICO, passed by Congress in 1970, was employed to prosecute a major federal case."

Anyone who enables Antifa in any way could be legally liable. Those Hollywood celebrities who are sending money to bail out Antifa members cold be legally charged.

Yeah, this exposes the supporters and organizations allied with them to scrutiny. I warned my liberal friends that sending money to "bail-out" funds might leave them with a felony conspiracy rap or worse. Some of them blocked me. oh well.

Does that mean we can prosecute Herr SSoro$ for supporting a terrorist organization?

Someone has to be in charge. Find the organizers/agitators and destroy them.

I sure hope the dust everything for fingerprints and swab them for DNA. The guy who tried to set a car on fire should be grilled relentlessly to find out who else is involved in this and then work their way up the chain of command.

We’ve seen the exact same tactic in MN. During the 2008 gop convention local police found stockpiles of molotovs, rocks, urine filled bottles stashed along the route of anti-gop marches and demonstrations. I don’t think anyone was actually arrested for that.
