1. What determines the point at which you will turn and run and abandon the citizens you have sworn to protect and serve?
2. Can you draft a policy which gives the citizens a clear understanding of when you will turn and run? This is vital to the community because they need as much notice as possible to arm, organize, and deploy to have a chance to overcome the threat.
3. Hypothetically, suppose a crowd of thousands of thugs approaches a community and you turn and run and abandon your citizens. The next day, thousands of bodies of thugs are stacked like cord wood. Since you chose to abandon your positions, are you now obligated not to investigate, and arrest and prosecute the citizens who defended their homes and lives when you wouldnt?

And that is a bad thing?
This isnt a movie. That is not the mission of the Marines. You guys need to settle down. The desire for bloodshed is scary. Clearly, this stuff isnt happening around you.
If it does, we would like to know if the authorities are going to stand their ground or run away. We have a right to know.
“Here is the pyramid of blame/responsibility in Minneapolis!”
I haven’t seen police unions mentioned yet. I would put them high on the list as unions cause bad members to be kept. With those 17 write-ups the cop had I bet the union was right there causing the Police to keep the reprobate.
Quit being an ass and playing dumb. People who are unarmed, walking around, and causing no problems should not be shot. People who are in the middle of a riot who are engaged in violence and/or looting and committing arson should be shot.
A family of rooftop Koreans would be enough.
(Just kidding...maybe.)
Surprise! Not everyone agrees with that.
"Minneapolis has once again descended into chaos. The police have retreated. And where is the National Guard? Well, they set up a defensive perimeter, and then they ran away. Im not kidding"
Bump!!!
They walked the perimeter back. They did not break and run.
Had they stood their ground people would have been hurt.
But thats what you want to see....white troops shooting down unarmed black folk.
The bloodlust here is scary.
The President has talked about sending in the military. Do you think he wants to see white troops shooting unarmed black folk?
Yes, I have considered that. If the authorities ran away because they were told to run away, they still ran away.
If this is what it’s come down to then class actions need to be brought against every municipality that has “to protect and serve” emblazoned on their police cars for fraud and deceptive advertising.
You are clueless as to what you are advocating. Why? Why give the punk mayor and leftists government in Minnesota a pass?
Isnt it interesting how quiet the Police Unions have been through all this?
Especially when the autopsy concluded the actions of the officers did not cause the suspect’s death.
My answers:
1.When using your benefits and pension is threatened.
2. When using your benefits and pension is threatened.
3. Obligated only to investigate white conservatives.
Bump
It wouldn’t hurt for a few people to go on “ride-a-longs”.
Fortunately the militias today are starting to realize they have no chance if they do not establish a relationship with their sheriff. This has not, however, transferred to large cities to my knowledge. You would be better off forming neighborhood watches and not use the "M" word.
One book I would commend to you that frames it nicely: "Constitutional Homeland Security" by Dr Edwin Vieira.
Thank you for recommending Vieira. Looks like another great addition to the arena of sanity and common sense. FR has such a treasure trove of people with sound wisdom to offer, we must get away from the hysteria and get down to the reality of our situation and STAND!
Why put Marines in danger when the city and state will not use the resources they already have?
