That’s very kind of you! We’re in the Upstate of SC, basically north west part of the state. We’ve had luck with some crops in the past but over the last 2 or 3 years, we’ve been overrun with either chippy or squash worms! Also this spring we have had rain at least 3 days a week & I mean flooding rain!! This week is our first of sun more than 2 days in a row!! Thanks again for your offer of help!!
So, I’m thinking Zone 7 is your growing zone - lucky you!

Critter issues have been discussed here a LOT! Homemade repellents or purchased ones, ‘Critter Ridder’ or ‘Repels All’ have given me good results. I’m not over run but I have Chippy and Raccoon issues.
I’ve been having one of our hunting dogs sleep on the front porch this week. I was closing up the kitchen for the night and the porch light came on and a BRAZEN raccoon was looking at me through the kitchen storm door! I’m guessing it was the same one that disassembled my porch pot the other night and stole one of my ceramic mushrooms, LOL!
I have gardened through too much rain and drought conditions. I will take a drought over too much rain any day! I have a well, so watering during drought is a PITA, but I’ve never had better tomatoes and peppers than in dry years.
