Some help here? I received 2 phone calls yesterday from friends who have children (young adults) on unemployment. They both stated that their children went and pulled all the unemployment money off their debit cards because Kudlow? said on tv that any unused money from unemployment left on the debit cards at the end of July will be pulled off and go back to the feds because the money was meant to be spent and not saved. That there were too many debit cards out there with thousands of dollars on them that apparently the people didn't need. I don't watch tv news but have looked everywhere for this and can't find it. I explained to them how this won't happen and how hard it would be to do since the cards are administered by the states but they are taking it as gospel. I think they probably misheard about people who are refusing to go back to work losing their benefits and having to pay the $ back. Anyone see any of this or have any insights? Thanks!
Thats it. Never give up. Even when youre wrong. I have a 38 year old adult child. Yeah shes still my child.
Waitll theyre bumped out of eligibility for Obamacare subsidy next year and have to pay a thousand a month for shitty bronze plans with a $7,500.00 deductible due to their taxable income being too high.
Lol. Good! Their free insurance has cost us a bundle.
