FluBro but I have no problem with masks. And on a practical level, if you ever want see large gatherings here again, baseball, football, Trump Rallies, hockey, concerts.... We had better accept them for a few years until the Covid-madness wears thin.
Add churches to above list.
Covid is impossible to catch outside.
Open up everything right now....meaning all retail and restaurants
You decide to wear a mask or not, or the business owner can mandate it.
Spend extra efforts keeping nursing homes free of Covid19

Sorry, fearper.
My body, my choice.

“No shirt, no shoes, no service” - been mandated by businesses for decades already.
“We had better accept them for a few years”
Hell, no!
“... or the business owner can mandate it.”
That can happen, and I hope their businesses fail miserably.

Definitely. But do not restrict patients’ families from visiting and being as complely engaged as they want. The elimination of social interaction is killing the elderly.
‘We had better accept them for a few years until the Covid-madness wears thin.’
are you seriously suggesting we submit to bizarre authoritarian diktat for a period of years...?
how about maybe a few weeks, or is that too scary for you..?
I have no problem with masks either...if the person has a reason to wear them. But it is good to celebrate mass gatherings of people who dont wear them.
Not in Texas, or at least Houston. Ive never worn a mask in public, and no one has made a peep about it. Ive encountered a total of one sign, at an office building downtown, claiming masks were required. At peak, Ive seen masks on about 50% of customers at stores. Now its about 25%.
Adam Carolla did some shows at the Houston Improv this weekend and remarked about the lack of masks. As he put it, Texans are not afraid of their government.

No thanks. And the church I attend does not require them and most do not wear them. Face masks are the new “Save the whales” bumper stickers.
Asymptomatic people are not very contagious because they ARE without symptoms - and the symptoms are what spread the virus, by and large. If you avoid irresponsible people who cough, sneeze and have a fever, your odds are good. If you are below 65 and in decent health, your odds are very good even if you are exposed.
The very old and those with health issues - I have a couple of friends with compromised immune systems due to cancer - are a different case and should behave differently.
I have not worn a mask, or used gloves. I will not wear a mask or any of the other silliness. I will not attend any sporting event, or other event that requires such, I will not be vaccinated, I will not be “tracked”. I refuse to be a sheep.
