Republican state Sen. Tom Barrett, R-Charlotte, noted to the News that Whitmer had urged state residents not to flock to Traverse City, and “Yet, what did her family try and do?
“In the Army, we have a tradition that the leaders get in line for chow last behind everyone else in the unit,” he said. “Here is the leader of our state. … Her family is trying to cut people in line.”
Whitmer’s spokeswoman, Tiffany Brown, did not deny the claims involving her boss’s husband to the News but said the governor’s office would not be responding to “every rumor that is spread online.”

We hear she has a lot of support l am very dubious of this. I am surrounded by people who want her recalled and I listen to a Black Talk Radio station sometimes and lot of people there are very unhappy with her. So she gets the usual boosted poll numbers in Media here but l don’t believe them.
Her second husband is a dentist, her first a photographer. Her girls are not little, I saw an old photo. They are probably late teens, early twenties.
What about the rumor that Whitless made lots of money through her porn videos?

She opened up two regions up North and her vacation home is in Elk Rapids in one the opened up regions. Heard she had a grad party for her daughter as well. Then I read the story about her husband and his boat dock. They are making him wait in line for his dock and not letting him jump ahead of others. Good for those dock workers.
She opened up some areas for business, Vets, dental, Dr visits, hosital non elective visits and dog grooming and then turned around and extended the stay at home for 14 days from May 28th to June 12 now.
You know to cover the incubation period in case someone gets COVID running UP North this week-end.
Will be 3 months lock down June 13th.

I was talking to a gal on camping forum via private message. Camping is on a big lock down here and she and I both have seasonal lots and can’t go there due to Whitmer rules.
She said I voted for her and I think she is now on a power trip and making it political. I won’t vote for her again.
I think there is a lot of anger with her as she is costing small businesses so much money. Big one is the private campgrounds. This is a major camping and tourist state and private campgrounds are either closed and following her rules or opened this weekend and said f off and will take the risk.

She was another Gov putting people with COVID in Nursing homes too.
She wasn’t staying home either to make the rounds to the devasted flood areas where people lost their homes and businsses either. 2 dams break last week around Midland area.
It was horrible. She is no where to be seen cause she took off up north to her vacation home.

When is Whitmer up for re-election?
That’s why I asked, I hadn’t really thought about Canada to be honest but it’s good to know that politicians are the same everywhere. Largely speaking I haven’t seen the same level of hypocrisy in our red state leaders but I’m sure it exists, again the main reason I asked.
Two, eternal years.
My governor is Newsome here in the People’s Democratic Republic of California.
It doesn’t even matter when Newsome is up for re-election. Each cycle, we get a rabid brain-dead commie even worse than the one before, so what difference does it make when we have re-elections. I am hoping you are better off. At least 3 of your last 4 governors were Republicans. The last time Calfornia had a Republican governor was Pete Wilson in 1999.
Our last governor was Republican (Rick Snyder). The left tortured him for the bad water in Flint issue, but it was not on him. The problem was city (democrats) and other offices further down the chain.
Our state up until now had alternated terms between Republican and Democrat.
