Hey I could not care less about it. Role model...who the hell cares. I sure don’t care nor do I think do most others.

BTW, I don’t believe personal anecdotes on this or any other online forum. Especially third hand stories.

Song structures?

Same old, same old - no complexity, just simple...kinda like madonna.

You are like 98% of the people here that only believe what they read on the internet. Real life, which is not documented somewhere, never happened. This is also evidenced by the repeated use of the phrase “I don’t care” and “I don’t believe”. Small life you lead, crouched down in some overstuffed chair smelling your used socks in some dank basement, reading musty moldy newspapers while listening to some erstwhile crooner screeching on the record player; not much remaining to care about or believe in.

Rosemary Queen of Hearts ...A classic; not sure who wrote it, but it will be listened to 100 years from now.

Bob wrote it.

I can’t recall any incidents, rumors, health problems or police interactions over 60 years of being one of the most productive humans on the planet. At 79 he seems to be in great shape mentally and physically. Forget all of that because you know someone who claims they did heroin with him in 90s. How could I have been so misled?

Couldn't find the studio versions of these on youtube (which are my own favorite versions of those two songs), but these ones are pretty good too.

"I Shall Be Released" - Bob Dylan, The Band, and various others (including a Beatle and a Rolling Stone!)

"When I Paint My Masterpiece" - Bob Dylan

Hey look pal, you don’t know me or anything about me. Sorry if I am not buying some undocumented third hand story of drug abuse from someone I never even met. And so what if I don’t care or don’t believe? It should not concern you.

Look, if you don’t like Dylan’s music then don’t listen to it. It’s really that simple. There are plenty of us who get enjoyment from listening to him. To each his own

Dylan’s early electric period revolutionized rock music.... The way that he combined the influence of rock and roll, country music, and ambitious, esoteric lyrics threw the likes of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones completely for a loop..... After that, rock musicians began writing songs with more meaningful lyrics..... I’m not saying this was necessarily such a good development, as it led to rock music becoming overtly political, which is actually what Dylan was trying to run away from when he left the folk music scene.... first his early folk music fans wanted to turn him into their political leader, and then a few years later, the hippies wanted to turn him into their spiritual leader, and to his credit, he didn’t want any part of it.... He just wanted to make music, and raise his kids..... So whatever you think of his music, at least give him credit for not being a follower and just wanting to do his own thing..... Hes actually very pro 2nd amendment, doesn’t buy into climate change nonsense, and is very pro Israel... Which distinguishes him from a lot of other left wing Jews In the entertainment industry

Dylan's Black Diamond Bay on his Desire album (1975) is one of my favorite musical tracks.
