I was just listening to Lou Dobbs on Fox Business News with my wife, and apparently the US has been allowing international air travel from *non-citizens* for quite some time. Including from China. I didn't stick around for the rest of the details, figuring I would toss something at the TV.
What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger ?
I don’t have a problem with international travel because everything should be open. There should of never been a shutdown. With that said, I do have problems with any type of commerce with China, excluding the SARs.
You mean millions of people being able to come in from anywhere? That has never been stopped -though it should have been by the start of Feb. We’re getting a ongoing, nonstop massive importation of China’s best diseases.
They have the virus. They have the vaccine. They have our money. Only need to figure out what else they want .....
Holders of diplomatic, service, courtesy, or C visas are exempt from the ban. Tested before and after the flight. They still may be asked to quarantine.
I’m just now listening to the replay of Lou Dobbs, the man danced around and around and never answered the question. Don’t blame it on President Trump, there are factions in this country that are working against President Trump.

It’s true people are still flying in even from china. The only thing the airlines have done is instead of 50 flights a day from china now there are 5.
Fox news interviewed a husband and wife two weeks ago they flew in from Italy -put the camera on them leaving customs right at the terminal.
Italians asked them a few question and took their temperature. In the US nothing not a question or even a temp test.
I am so ticked off we are still allowing this to happen it drives me nuts

If you want tight restrictions on international travel then perhaps you are inspired by North Korea?
Why would anyone have an issue with international travel - you worried about the Corona boogie man like the Dem governors?
My American in-laws own property in Canada, and now can’t visit it. We were going to visit in late June—I see the border is still closed until June 21. I’m hoping we can reschedule in August.
Shows the danger of owning property in another country, if not a citizen of that country.
This is absolutely true, I couldn’t believe Dobbs didn’t press the issue and try to find out why people from China, Italy and other European countries supposedly locked out of our country were still coming in every day. I love our president but this is unacceptable.
I think we ought to close ALL travel to/from China and other enemy countries.
Why wouldn’t we? Your paranoia shouldn’t curtail other people’s freedoms.
Works for me, but not for those making the decisions.
