You could wear a mask and a Minnie Pearl hat, I doubt anyone is giving you crap about it, just don’t force us to do the same, and I am dying of respiratory failure.

Nobody should be forced and yes, people are giving crap about it, at least locally. I’m not going to stop wearing mine that I have worn every flu season for 10 years just to make other people happy.

Heh. That gives me an idea.
How about a tinfoil hat with matching mask?
‘Course, the mask would need nose holes to breathe.
Ima go make a matching set right now! Can’t wait to try ‘em out at WalMart!

“Masked creatures?”

Maybe that didn’t come out right. I was just remembering the vacant fearful looks in their eyes, and the body language that was withered and timid. Although truly human, more zombie-like. Try as I might, I can’t understand the fear.

“I’m starting to dislike some conservatives as much as I dislike libs.”

I partially agree. I don’t “dislike” some conservatives. I’m just disappointed in those who identify as conservatives but aren’t really. It’s weird to learn how quickly and easily some have handed over their liberty.

It’s a whole new world out there, right? Definitely (and sadly) a new America. I hope we can recover.

We're brothers in the struggle, you and I.

And your sister in the struggle here. I keep a niqab and hijab in my purse just in case. The niqab is the 3 layer Saudi style so I can look like a death eater if I want to. Ditto on the choice Arabic words.

OUR Walmart tolsd us that they were going to put in arrows and make the aisles back and forth and they did so...but 2 of the aisles next to each other (coffee, veggies etc) are both green which messes up most people and its confusing to go back around the long way to get to the aisle I want so I just pop through to where I need to be if the aisles is not to full of people...1/2 the people (yes women) go the wrong way...usually some of the aisles are 1/2 blocked with employees restocking anyway so theres not 6 feet if you want to get passed to a particular item... if the item is just inside the row I just leave my cart outside and go the wrong way and grabbed it...

Otherwise I’d be in there 1/2 the day just trying to work out the traffic signals...

1/2 the shoppers and all of the employees wear masks or bandannas...

Ive become like LInus... My outlaw-in-an-old-Western-bandanna is my security blanket...

:)

We can recover. I don’t see many of the vacant fearful looks that some in other states and big cities see I guess. I’m sensitive to the mask shaming since I have worn one during flu season for around 10 years. I didn’t start because of COVID. I’m not going to be bullied and called names because I’m doing something I have done for years for medical reasons just because some conservatives think it’s a sign of being a traitor or a “sheep”. I’m as conservative as anybody in here. I worry about our freedom as much as anybody in here. I won’t be forced to take vaccinations or wear a mask if I don’t need to wear one. I don’t think healthy people really need them unless maybe they are at a doctor’s office or emergency room or something like that. I doubt I have even come into contact with anybody that is infected. I am more afraid of the flu than I am COVID.

Unless you are the only conservative in 100 miles there is no way to tell if the person behind that mask is a conservative with health issues or a liberal nutcase. I’d just like the mask shaming and bullying by our side to tone down a notch.

As someone said earlier in this thread...”your body, your choice”. Do what you need to do to stay safe...screw the rest of them.

Wouldn’t you be surprised if the people flouting the recommendations turn out to be the unwitting tools of the globalists? They’ve always thrived on pitting two groups against one another, why would they change now?

Don’t forget, not only are they evil, they’re also very smart.

"Bisness" would be more logical.

But there are plenty of educated people who actually pronounce it "bizness" or even "bizniss". Nature of the language.

The grammer police here have been considered non-essential

The correct spelling is "grammar".

All the time I see the youngsters driving alone in their vehicle while wearing a mask.

They are very concerned about their safety, so concerned that they are also texting while driving while wearing a mask.

The EMT's responding to their vehicle crash will be impressed.

Thanks, but this thread was about people trying to bully others TO wear a mask. I don’t like busybodies or bullies regardless of their political persuasion. But most of the comments were humorous, and I fail to see why you are so upset. I get upset with some comments on the forum but I’ve learned not to let it ruin my day or turn a thread into a war of words.
If so many people in your area are threatening people just for wearing a mask, I would check the water supply for drug dumping or something instead of blaming conservativism.

Very little of that crap here in the midwest. People more laid back, polite, and friendly than the northeast or west coast. But you never know.

Same here in Arizona. Today, I was going to see if the Whole Foods had yeast. At the entrance I saw my first, "We ask that you wear a mask. One will be provided if you do have one." Sure enough, everyone inside was wearing masks. So, I just decided that I can go to another store. My wife changed her shopping from Smart & Final to Winco for the same reason. No need for a glare, or a finger, or snark.

In a Walmart here in Phoenix, maybe one in three wears a mask. At our Church, one in fifty. Denny's: Staff 100%, customers 0% (they have to eat). At the conservative coffee shop I frequent, the table with four old Harley riders was three no mask, one mask. I pass no judgment on the one wearing the mask any more than his pals did.

The issue I have with masks mostly is that these young people are wearing them in stores all day many times not even taking them off for breaks. That is so not good for your lungs.

They’re just obedient sheep who value some imaginary level of “safety” over freedom.

Some, yes. Others are simply trying to be polite, believing that not wearing a mask makes other people genuinely feel ill at ease. Good manners means trying to consider other people's situation. That is not the same thing as being a NWO enabler, even if it looks the same at a distance.
