I’ve got a good hunch how that turned out.
Same here in Connecticut. However, at least one grocery chain is fairly lax enforcing it by simply having a sign on the door and hoping people comply. This basically have the side it’s not worth it to have their employees deal with it as they know full well most of their employees will pull down the mask we’re not in view of customers so they can actually breathe. I was in there yesterday and didn’t wear a mask even though 95% or more did.
I have several Karen’s give me dirty looks and only one give me a finger wagging disapproving head shake as she walked by, as she was going the wrong way down a one-way aisle.
Nope, not present tense. They WERE indoctrinated courtesy of the American public school system 20 to 40 years ago.

People were talking about the JoAnn’s lady for weeks after that. None of us had any idea of who she was though she acted like everyone in line was a long lost rich relative or something.
The Walmart guy was a good deal larger than me, but there were men in that line bigger than him and I don’t think that fact was lost on him.
The pharmacy line had a little kid in it with one of those “kak kak kak” sounding coughs, so I left.
I asked my wife not to yell at me in public.

Yesterday, apparently there was a NASCAR race without the fans of course. I overheard part of the pre-race radio programming in the car and Not once in the five or so minutes I listened did they even talk about racing just about how the drivers wore masks, they clean the microphones, they had tape on the floor
At the restaurant where I work (here in north Texas) a customer at the drive thru window noticed that some of the employees he could see did not have their masks on properly (in his opinion) and demanded a refund.
Very little of that crap here in the midwest. People more laid back, polite, and friendly than the northeast or west coast. But you never know.
The last thing we need is for the effing lawyers to get everything.
... I see these same people, with gloves on, scratching their nose, under their masks. I could go on... Every day I have new stories.
One masked and gloved guy approached me, coming well inside my normal “social distance.” Never mind covid... I just took a half step toward him (half step was all I could take, he was that close), and he stepped back, and I step toward him again... I walked him right out into the open.
I guess this $#/! Is getting to me.

In certain isles, Social Distancing (I feel like a sheep using that stupid term), is also ignored.
I had a lady cashier break out some new bills and licked her thumb to count out my change.
I told her I didn’t care, but don’t do that too often cause somebody might take extreme umbrage.
She told me she had umpteen years as EMT and screw ‘em.

Yes. My reference is to the current behavioral conditioning the Dims and THEIR media and THEIR bureaucrats corona panic agenda has been waging, in behaviors specific for which the Wuhan Virus is the excuse.
Example: Husband and wife walking down a wide tree lined residential street with very big set backs in front of the houses, no one around in either direction on their side of the street, and both are wearing masks. To what benefit to whom? To no one outside of those doing the behavioral conditioning. Yet, this is seen all the time. Don’t think, just follow rules.
Our local Peet’s Coffee is serving coffee drinks outside on card tables. I waited in the 6-foot socially distanced line and the young lady said she couldn’t take my order without a mask! This was OUTDOORS!
I put my face into the crook of my arm and gave her my order. She replied “Could you pull your t-shirt up over your mouth and nose?” LOL.
She actually went into the store and came back with an employee mask for me! That was so nice of her, but I politely told her to save it for the employees. In the end, I gave my order and got my drink without a mask.
LOL...wait until the head lice infestation starts with those hats being passed around customer to customer!
