Dan Bongino has come up with a knock-your-socks-off theory about why Flynn’s December 29, 2016, telephone call with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak didn’t need unmasking. He also offers a surprising twist on the charging papers against Flynn, something that may expose the DOJ's con on the court.
A lot of people noticed something interesting in the newly released list showing Obama-era people unmasking Flynn communications: No one unmasked Flynn’s call with Kislyak. There were no unmaskings between December 28 and January 4. The next unmasking, on January 5, took place after Comey had admitted that he already knew about the Kislyak call and after Obama had been briefed about the call.
Andrew McCarthy believes that the call didn’t need to be unmasked because the CIA, not the FBI, spied on Flynn. Unlike the FBI, the CIA is not subject to FISA laws. Instead, it spies on people outside of the U.S. – and Flynn was in the Dominican Republican when he had the call with Kislyak.
That’s an excellent theory but here’s an equally intriguing one from Bongino:
Bongino explains that there are three ways for the FBI to spy on Americans: First, start a criminal investigation and seek a court order. Second, make an application to the FISA court, as the FBI did with Carter Page. Third, request an unmasking identifying Americans involved in captured communications with a foreigner.

We don’t have the basic facts of L’Affair Flynn after 3 1/2 years? Why is that? Paging Gaspipe Barr: You are on the clock. That the Barr DOJ can assault and prosecute Flynn for over a year but not release the basic facts on the case is shocking.

What’s the point when you have a “justice” department that simply dismisses the possibility of prosecuting top Democrats because, after all, they’re top Democrats... not to mention a Republican Senate who are more interested in their fantasies that Jeb! could some day be President than actually doing anything to improve the country and support our President.
We’ve seen over and over again that anything that validates POTUS positions are buried by the Deep State. And with ZERO Congressional oversight they’ve been quite successful. We don’t even have the basic facts here after nearly 4 years. Just unbelievable.

I do recall the “ expelling 35 Russian diplomats”, was a huge WTF? at the time. Seemed oddly timed and wildly overwrought, with no apparent proof of Russian meddling. Real sense of “there must be something else going on” about it.

The Obama regime had targeted General Flynn for “non-person” status back in 2014, when he was removed from his post as director of Defense Intelligence Agency, and forced to retire. It seems General Flynn had taken sharp exception with the very anti-Israel stance of the Obama regime (are you listening, neocons and Jewish intellectuals?), and decided to make an example of him.
In a decidedly Stalinist move, Obama did everything he could to subvert any possible re-emergence of Michael Flynn in anything like a position of responsibility in close proximity to the incoming President Trump, and forced him out with a combination of threats and sheer chutzpah on the part of FBI agents who entrapped Flynn with charges of “lying” to the FBI, because of seemingly contradictory statements in connections with his “contacts” with high Russian officials.
When this is all over, President Trump should put Michael Flynn in as Director of the FBI, with a free hand to go after the remaining deadwood there.

Yes, it’s a tragedy. Plus a HHS system that just destroyed the constitution of late. These people are worse than crooks with their nefarious plans to crush American’s and America. Fundamental change is not Godly nor constitutional but nothing happens to fight against it. New revelations come daily but it’s not front center.

Seems to me there’d be at least a couple of other ways to get the info:
- have another “Five Eyes” country reporting it, and/or
- use “The Hammer” for illegal domestic surveillance as his admin was already known to have been doing.
They why is that they had to get rid of Flynn as he would have uncovered the ongoing investigation against President Trump and would have shut it down.
I would think Bongino would be great in that temporary role. He had a lot of those facts at his fingertips, which is half the battle in being able to effectively communicate them, which is going to be critical of any high profile prosecution...
On this mechanism of how the FBI got the transcript, I think he is spot on. I had spent a lot of time pondering this, and this is the only one that really makes sense.
Bongino’s work is excellent. His latest has the FBI doing themselves in their own words and books. They actually ADMIT the stuff they were doing. In context you can draw a map of exactly WHEN, WHO, WHAT, and WHY, and particularly HOW. If there are any reasonable judges left we will see convictions on the EVIDENCE. Falsifying FBI documents, Leaking classified information, lying under oath, and criminal investigations that had no merit.

Does anyone know why Flynn went to the Dominican Republic for vacation? Or anywhere out of the country for that matter? I know people do it all the time, but I’ve wondered if there was a hitch to it. Like, “here Mike, we’ve got this trip scheduled, but can’t make it. Would you like these tickets?” Or “hey Mike, my vacation home is free for the holidays, feel free to go down if you’d like”.
