Fox News’ Neil Cavuto was so shocked by President Donald Trump announcing he’s taking hydroxychloroquine that he took a few minutes to explicitly warn viewers about the risks of taking it.
At one point the president asked “what have you got to lose,” but as Cavuto said, “A number of studies, those certainly vulnerable in the population have one thing to lose, their lives. A VA study showed that among a population of veterans in a hospital receiving this treatment, those with vulnerable conditions, respiratory conditions, heart elements, they died.”
Cavuto read from a number of other studies about the effects of hydroxychloroquine and said, “Those who took it, in a vulnerable population, including those with respiratory or other conditions, they died. I want to stress again — they died. If you are in a risky population here and you are taking this as a preventative treatment to ward off the virus or, in a worst-case scenario, you are dealing with the virus, and you are in this vulnerable population, it will kill you. I cannot stress that enough. This will kill you.”
He also brought on Dr. Bob Lahita, chairman of medicine at St. Joseph University Hospital, who said he has seen “no effect whatsoever with this drug” on patients with COVID-19.
Lahita continued warning viewers about the serious risks, and at one point Cavuto just straight-up asked him, “The president says, ‘What have you got to lose? It sounds like what you’re saying, you have a risk of losing your life if you do about the president just recommended.”

I was stunned when Cavuto became so agitated that he declared “taking the drug will kill you” as though he was qualified to say that.
He spent the rest of his show with leading questions to two doctors trying to get support for his declaration. One responded sort of positively and the other said it was probably not dangerous under a physicians supervision.
Cavuto seems to be on the Anti-Trump blame game train.
Don’t put the blame on Italians that Cavuto is a POS, creepy, smirks worse than Wray, whose mother is Irish.
I mention that only to prove it is not the Italian background, because I detest him and I’m Italian descent, but because he is a worthless nobody quickly making more enemies. And not to insult the Irish, either.
He is furious because he never snagged a one on one interview with President Trump. I hope PDJT feels the same about him as I do.

One of the main reasons why this drug is controversial is becuase it has the potential to single handedly wipe out the entire vaccination industry when it comes to flu’s and other viral infections!

It’s weird that he would have such a strong reaction. He must think FOX viewers are like CNN viewers that don’t do their own research and just believe everything the anchors tell them.
No Cavuto for me. I only watch media that is supportive of the President and the country.
This could work out win-win if HCQ is the only antidote and we’re the only people willing to take it. I hope there’s at least one FRiend who can build a national electrical grid cuz we’re gonna need that.

You are right...Cavuto is a royal pain in ass...and we avoid him here...often just turn TV off and go out doors, thank goodness the weather is getting nicer for us to enjoy the outdoors...This has truly been the strangest year in our entire lives...never dreamed in our old age we would be going through all this bull shit...
