I know. I see a lot of young white women in Walmart looking very much impoverished and caring for a mixed-race baby. They're almost always alone. I rarely see the woman and the kid's father together. I certainly don't know any statistics, but my impression is that it usually just doesn't work out.
That having been said, I have a cousin who is married to a really nice black guy. He's from Jamaica and not from U.S. urban streets, so maybe that helps explain it.
