I got through three months without a dog after my golden lab cross died. Then game over. Resucued one blue healer, then bought a border collie/ kelpie cross. Miss my last dogs? You can bet your ass. I have to have them around, I love them and they love me. It’s what me and the kids do. Sorry for Mr Levin but there’s a youngster that needs a friend.

I owned a beautiful Rough Collie and lost her last year. Never thought I’d have another Rough Collie until I saw another gorgeous puppy(RC). She was born on July 4th and will be one year old. So glad I did.

Prayers for strength. It’s hard losing a furry family member you’ve had for years. It’s a weird grief and not a lot of people understand.

I have had dogs all my life. Since I was a child. I enjoyed each of them. They were each good pets in their own way. But, I will never ever understand the overly emotional attachment some people put upon a pet animal.
I have found that the vast majority of people who bestow an overly emotional attachment, and attribute an overly human attachment to animals, whether dogs or other animals have issues.
Dogs are for the most part loyal and devoted ANIMALS. That said, they are ANIMALS. They serve a purpose. Most serve that purpose well. But, they are ANIMALS. They are NOT humans. They are NOT our CHILDREN. Those giving them this status or nearly so is disturbing.

Cats are too. My sister just lost her cat of 20 yrs. TWENTY years of having this companion. Both her and her husband grieved.

I find people who do not feel loss of a pet they’ve had for a long time to be the ones with issues.

My cat has heart issues and I just found this out, I don’t know how long she has, but I definitely made up my mind to adopt a cat or even a bonded pair when she finally passes.

Why does it disturb you so much? And what do you consider ‘overly human’? There are a lot of lonely people to whom a pet animal IS family.

I think that people who dearly love their animals aren’t the only ones with ‘issues’. I’d certainly prefer one of them in a foxhole with me, than someone who discounts that devotion as ‘disturbing’.

For many people, the love of and for an animal can be revelatory in many areas important to HUMAN life.

His show on Fox tonight was EXCELLENT!
Went through the complete timeline of Obamagate, and laid it out like a corpse on an autopsy table, so that noone could avoid the stench of its rotten core!

Really? Who said that they do not feel sad at the death of a PET? My point is, that far too many people have more feelings towards an ANIMAL than they have towards a fellow Human Being.
This is a fact.
And, it is disturbingly wrong. There are far too many people that do not have Children of their own who outwardly state that their PETS are their CHILDREN. Do you find this NORMAL? I don’t have ANIMAL CHILDREN. I have PETS. Do you disagree?

Did you ever consider some people can’t have kids and don’t have the money to adopt? So what if they make a cat, dog, bird or whatever their replacement?
Many functioning people with fufilling lives think of their dog or cat as family.
Not sure what your issue is about this?

Yes. Sprite, he had another dog named Pepsi who also passed a few years ago. Prayers sent. Our daughter has a lab shepherd husky mix and a wire haired Jack Russell terrier, both 10 yrs old and still in excellent health, but sadly they only live for so long

Animals ARE NOT HUMAN. THEY ARE NOT CHILDREN. Anyone who considers them as such is disturbed. Seriously disturbed.
Your argument is lacking. If you are unable to conceive but have the funds to care for ANIMALS and CLAIM you haven’t the funds to care for a HUMAN CHILD that is a choice you made which says far more about you and your priorities.
It says you have your priorities so F’ed up it is beyond help. If you don’t understand this you are beyond help.
No Christian could or would ever take your position with this subject. An ANIMAL before a Human Child.

Wow.

How much do you have to pretzel yourself, your intellect, and your heart, to come up with that ‘logic’, and to force another person’s pleasure into YOUR strict ‘code’? You come across as someone far less human than those here who have deeply loved animals.

Talk about ‘issues’...

There’s a dog at a pound just waiting for him to adopt and bring joy into his family’s life.

“The last time Mark lost his pet, it dominated his radio show for over a week. I’ve never listened to his show again. Then his offensively never-Trumper BS during the primaries lost any credibility he ever had, with me anyway.”

I remember how crushed he was at the loss of that other pet dog. I also became disgusted at his anti-Trump stance during the primaries, when I myself had long since realized the Donald Trump is the real deal and was not just an exceedingly excellent choice, but the best choice; that he who spoke frankly and with truth. Levin’s missing the mark on this annoyed me to no end, since he and I saw eye to eye on so much. Fast forward... he did become a big supporter of Trump. I wish he did more of a mea culpa than he was done. His was a failure of imagination. He, like many, could reorient their mind’s eye to the fact that Donald Trump’s strengths are a superb set of strengths for the presidency.

Mark Levin is not perfect (nodbody is), but has done a tremendous amount to alert the public about the evil that is Communism. He was revamped earlier written works of other people, explaining our county’s institutions, history and values. For this he deserves much credit, as he brings important concepts to new audiences during an era when lies are pushed by most socalled new sources.

Anyone who puts any ANIMAL, love for any ANIMAL above the Love of a Human Child I have no use for.
If you can afford the care of any ANIMAL but have no use or care for an abandoned HUMAN CHILD I have no use for you.
If this concept is too deep for you to understand well, it says far more about you.
Spare me your pathetic attempt at guilt. It is you and those like you that should be worried. One day YOU will have to answer for your careless attitude towards the needy children.
And, you will have to explain why you cared far more for ANIMALS than the CHILDREN.
