President Trump says he would "rapidly" mobilize the U.S. military to distribute a coronavirus vaccine once it's ready, focusing first on nursing homes and the elderly most vulnerable to deadly complications from the virus. Mr. Trump made the comments during an interview with Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo.
"We're mobilizing our military and other forces but we're mobilizing our military on the basis that we do have a vaccine. You know, it's a massive job to give this vaccine. Our military is now being mobilized so at the end of the year we're going to be able to give it to a lot of people very, very rapidly," the president said.
"We will have a tremendous force because assuming we get it, then you have to distribute it," he added. "And unless you're mobilized and ready, you're not going to be able to do it for a long time. So we're starting now."

I’m in the same boat, pardner, and I took my last flu shot the month I retired - against my will, I might add, and got sick as a dog. I’m 64 now, take no pharmaceuticals and, years ago, I started taking a variety of supplements and adhere to an almost exclusively natural approach to preventive or therapeutic medicine. I take tincture of Echinacea (diluted of course), colloidal silver and zinc as immune system boosters and I am very rarely sick.
I do the same with Zinc, Echinacea, and silver.

I think Trump is trying to get way ahead of Bill Gates and Fauci. This will be a safe vaccine distributed with safe syringes. It will be voluntary not mandatory.
If the President wasn’t doing this we’d be stuck with a Gates vaccine distributed in syringes full of who knows what.
Gates and Fauci will not make millions off Americans.
By the Way...I won’t be getting any of it. When I stopped taking flu shots I stopped getting the flu.

We can start a vaccine-equivalent tomorrow with hydroxychloroquine in the prophylaxis dose regimen (once per week). Much safer cheaper than a new vaccine
I think your tin foil hat may be on a little too tight.

Perhaps he intents to “revise and extend” his remarks.
If this is a Chinese bio-weapon it’ll probably become less virulent over time... most Chinese stuff breaks down faster than expected.
That could solve the problem...
My concern is if China does a back-up bio-weapon ‘accidental spill’... In which case we should throw every weapon we have at their totalitarian sh*thole.

On FBN this morning, a guest mentioned “the vaccine that Fauci was instrumental in creating” (not an exact quote, but that’s the gist). So, “SUSPICIOUS”, you say? I don’t recall if it was on Bartiromo or Varney. Probably Bartiromo.
The fact that this stuff keeps popping-up on Bartiromo’s show seems to point to an elaborate vaccine stock-pumping scam underway.
I REALLY wanted Fauci to be questioned by Senators about his personal financial stake in any of this.
It was said IMO to calm the fears of the people, who will line up by the thousands to get it, and will demand it be available as soon as it's ready.

I think you raised a good point in that the media by now has managed to scare the bejeebers out of a number of people who are now too afraid to return to work without a vaccine.
From that standpoint Trump has every incentive to deliver one.

And all democrats in House and Senate need to be tested for antibodies. I'd give 2-1 odds that ALL of them are immune/vacced.
(Wasn't there some news report about Roberts being caught on a hot mic, saying something like "It's a hoax. We're vaccinated" ?)
And apparently SanFran Nan has already said she doesn't want any of them tested?
