Ridiculous. No one dies from opioid addiction. They die from overdosing on opioids.
This is part of the absurd propagandistic fantasy which seems to govern modern discourse, like SUVs killing people in fatal accidents.
If this boy stuck a needle in his arm and died, say so.
IMO part of the problem we are having with the China virus crisis is due to the overblown opioid “crisis” where prescription medication was conflated with heroin and fentenyl. The fear tactics, lack of distinctions and out of control virtue signaling were promoted in a frenzy much to the country’s enstupification and infantilization.
Instilling hysteria in a population is easy to do, apparently, and dangerous. We seem to be riding on a constant wave of hysteria, where even good people get carried along without any questions.
