Robert Mueller's Russia probe never would have happened if now-Attorney General William Barr was picked for the position in 2017 instead of Jeff Sessions, President Trump said Friday.
In a phone interview on "Fox & Friends" with host Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade, and Ainsley Earhardt, the president said that Sessions was a "disaster" in his role and that, initially, he did not want to make him attorney general.
"I didn't want to make him Attorney General, but he was the first senator to endorse me. So, I felt a little bit of an obligation," Trump recalled. "He came to see me four times just begging me to be attorney general. He wasn't equipped to be attorney general, but he just wanted it, wanted it, wanted it. He was from a state that I love: Alabama. You know, I won Alabama by a tremendous margin."
"He wanted it and I said, 'Alright, Jeff.' You know, he was a smaller version of that in Alabama for a little while. He was a very average guy, I find out. But, he goes in he was so bad in his nomination proceedings. I should have gotten rid of him there," he remarked.

Yes, there is. It's a shame you have to ask.
I thought you would be smart enough to figure it out.
I'm only disappointed at my own high expectation of you.
Well, you apparently don’t follow it, given your sentiment, so
how do you know that’s what they’re saying now after 2 years into it?
Because not one of the Qballs will admit they were wrong about Sessions. Hes still a white hat. According to them so is Rosenstein. An assertion for which there is absolutely ZERO evidence, btw.
Qballs are silly ignorant children, mostly. They follow this fraud down infinite rabbit holes none of which lead anywhere significant.

I’m only disappointed at my own high expectation of you.
If youre another one of those Qball losers Im quite happy to be the object of your disappointment. Ill try to struggle on through my day in spite of it.

PDJT nominated Sessions and left him in the job for a long time? He could have, and should have, fired Sessions the minute Sessions refused himself.
Wray was such a wasted opportunity. I heard Rosenweasel recommended Wray. After the little punk named Comey’s BFF as special counsel why the hell would Trump listen?
Graham threatened to not approve any replacement for Sessions if Trump fired him.
Trump was fighting the Democrats, the Deep State and his own party.
The GOP wanted to get rid of him a s much as the Democrats.
My understanding of the "Q" movement is that the individual is to research things themselves to come to the truth of things.
Many people have misconstrued some of the things that have been written by Q. IMO, the whole "Trust Sessions" "Trust Rosenstein" issue is one of those things.
Whether or not all Q followers trust either of those men, as you imply, is questionable. Not all Q followers, as far as I've seen, trust either man.
To me, Q was saying that those two men could be trusted to act in their nature, that being the nature of the scorpion. (swamp dwellers)
They both stung POTUS in the middle of the river...acting in their nature...and the frog should have trusted that they would do so yet didn't.
This frog (POTUS), however, jumped to the bank before he got stung/drowned.
It really is that simple.
Coulda, woulda, shoulda.
Thanks for the tacit admission that you follow the Q threads/postings waiting to see such a proclamation.
It's either that or you're lying about what they do, or do not, believe since you don't know and are merely speculating.
“The Qballs are still clinging to that particular bit of idiocy.”
Bully- Moron. You obviously like to pick on people who are not allowed to defend themselves. But the rules are special for you.
Coyote would have been ashamed of you.
because of that stupid and wimpy action of "recusing" himself which legally as I understand it, he didn't have to do...
Can we please keep the Q crap in the designated Q litterbox please. Thanks.
This subject actually came up in the interview this morning too, after a question was raised about Wrays apparent complicity in the coverup at the FBI. There was some crosstalk on who the recommendation for Wray came from, and Chris Christie was mentioned, but I think he was actually then referring to who recommended Rosenstein.
But Trump said twice there are going to be some very interesting things to come out about Rosenstein, and soon, and he inferred they would link back to Wray, as the FBI director works for (and was likely) hired by the deputy AG.
At the end of the day the buck stops at Trump’s desk.
Some of his early appointments were utter disasters and he has no one to blame but himself.
But he has learned. He’s done much better with his personell decisions lately.
Trust the plan.
Coyote would have been ashamed of you.
Coyote wouldnt have been so gullible as to follow some anonymous internet whack a doodle who never had a single prediction come true.
Now go hump someone elses leg.

To me, Q was saying that those two men could be trusted to act in their nature, that being the nature of the scorpion..
Ah, here we go. The psychological deflection rears its hydra like head. Im just too stupid to understand the infinite layers of subtlety displayed by Qball.
Except thats not what Qball said. Trust Sessions. Trust the plan. was and STILL is the chanted Holy Mantra of Qball.
Just follow me long enough and all will be revealed. Its just hiding behind that incoming comet. Now just lay back while we remove your testicles. Where we are going you wont need them.
Fools following a charlatan.

I agree. But Trump was faced with an enormous task. So many people to replace. He asked Giuliani to be A.G., but Rudy turned him down. Rudy should have taken it just for a transition period. Not sure how Christie would have been, but Trump ruled him out because of the Jared Kushner feud.
Trump knew the Intelligence Community was up to something, because Admiral Rogers clued him in in November, 2016. Did Trump offer Rogers a position?
Another Trump misstep was firing Gen. Flynn, based on what Sally Yates told him.
Yes, Trump made several mistakes. I wonder if he will ever accept responsibility?
