Elon Musk and Grimes have chosen a very unconventional name for their newborn son: X Æ A-12.
On Monday, after the Tesla CEO announced the birth of his child with the Canadian singer, a fan tweeted, We need the name we literally need it.
Musk, 48, responded, X Æ A-12 Musk, with no explanation. He also shared two photos of the newborn one with a filter of tattoos on his face.

Are baby tattoos the new trend?
Is he nuts?
Dweezil and Moon Unit were already taken?
This is encouraging. There are enough David’s in the world.
That name is pronounced “child abuse”. What are they thinking by saddling the kid with a name that he would be ashamed of or that nobody would be able to pronounce?
Or he wants a child who will hate him his entire life.
Could go the Johnny Cash route and just name him Sue.
And that's in the original Klingon.

It’s spelled X AE A-12 but its pronounced “ Throat Wobbler Mangrove”!
And yes...that is what passes for a pretty girl -- in Canada)
Where the heck is “Æ” on my keyboard?
Yeah, I know, Alt-0198, but that’s 5 key strokes, and I don’t have a clue how to do it on a phone.
You beat me to it. As soon as this kid is old enough, hes headed to court to legally change his name.

LITERALLY need it? Yeah, if I was Musk, I’d play the “boy, people sure is dumb” card myself and just make up something to watch folks get all twitchy about it.
The A-12 was a variation of the SR-71. That’s the first thing I thought of.
Looks like Brian Eno.
Baby X for short.
They TATTOOED that baby??? Tell me those things aren’t real !!!! No, I haven’t read the article yet. Usually I do, but I didn’t this time.
Shel Silverstein wrote that song.
Where the heck is Æ on my keyboard?
That’s a girl ???????
As long as the parents sign the permission slip.
One can pronounce it any way one wishes. It would be normal if the child declares it spells “Fred” when he is old enough to read.
