Nope. I have thalessemia....my case has a good chance it won’t be light since I already have blood oxygen issues.
Thus, I will have to continue to hibernate until I know I can easily get a drug before I need to be hospitalized.
Chances are I could crash fast.
Although, I am still researching what I should do to try to help with oxidative stress that I have to live with every day of my life.
Gosh Im sorry
May God keep watch, FRiend.
Oh wow, I hope you do find something in your research that gives you an edge. What about any nutritional thing like vitamins d and k or?? I admit to knowing nothing about thalessimia.
If your health is otherwise good, the disease, covid, if you get it, might not be as bad as you would think since you already are used to lower blood oxygen issues. You could probably tolerate lower o2 absorption levels caused by the virus with just a little o2 support and perhaps a unit of blood. Someone like me with a good robust red cell count would have quite a bit of a crash with covid since I would not have lived long periods of time with low red counts and low po2 counts and then having much higher levels of damaged and exposed heme molecules that act like a suffocating poison in the body then you would have contended with.
God has us carry crosses but it is surprising sometimes how he makes our burdens lite and how things compensate even for those who have weaker frames.
Still, I don’t know all the troubles you’ve lived with and if I have spoken glibly and out of turn concerning your personal life, I ask your forgiveness.
