Probably because the media refuses to Challenge Cuomo on anything. And there are no lawyers that are brave enough to take him on either.

I would guess this is unconstitutional.

Government cannot dictate how a doctor practices medicine.

If a doctor prescribes it, the pharmacy has to give it out.

Numerous states' Governors have restricted healthcare workers and / or pharmacists ability to prescribe or dispense in regard to hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine: https://www.lupus.org/advocate/state-action-on-hydroxychloroquine-and-chloroquine-access#

New York (Cuomo) has been particularly draconian in their orders, but there are other states that have followed suit with regard to how many days supply the pharmacists can dispense 14 days) - Arizona is an example. I'm not positive of the number of states restricting access to everyone - even those with per label prescriptions for things like RA and Lupus, but I believe it is over 20.

Why has Governor Cuomo by executive order banned the sale of hydroxychloroquine for at-home use

It's just a simple cost cutting measure, the more Old People Die, the less the State has to spend on their Expensive Health Care.

Are you saying you can’t even get it with a doctor’s prescription? Or are you trying to get some without a doctor’s prescription? You need to get a doctor to prescribe it, for your own safety, so you know the correct dosage to take.

He has personally murdered thousands in New York State. No governor has the ability to ban a legal medicine. Again, a governor has no legal authority to ban a legal medicine. He should literally be tried for Murder and I hope the families of those who lost loved ones do something about it.

All people need to know that artemesia, aka sweet wormwood,
can be used (properly) as an alternative to HCQ. Both of these are long-time well known effective malaria drugs, and the mechanism that makes hcq effective, is the same mechanism that makes artemesia effective.

And you can buy it online from many places or find it in your grocery stores’ supplements or your local health store supplements.

A drug called Tamiflu can help if you get regular influenza but only if you start it within the first two days of symptoms. A few years ago I had the flu but did not call the doctor for about five days, hoping I would get better. At that point, it was too late for Tamiflu to help and he did not prescribe it. I wonder if this is the same thing with hydroxychloroquine.
