Aahhhhhh! I just want to pull out my hair!! It works. It doesn’t work. It works..
My son is a doctor who is working on Long Island in two of the Northwell Health hospitals. He has been working with COVID patients in the ICU. He told me that these drugs (hydroxychloroquine and zinc) have not made any improvements in survival rates. They have been giving them to all the COVID patients. It doesn’t matter if they get the drugs when they are in the early stages of this illness or near the end. I spoke to him about this two evenings ago. I really can’t figure out why some places are seeing great results with these two drugs and others aren’t.
Please forgive me ahead of time if I don’t respond to any replies to this. For the next several days I will be straight out busy from morning until evening. If I get a minute, I will pop in and see if there’s anything to respond to. I just had to put this out here because I see all of these posts claiming that these drugs are doing wonderful things and I have a person in my life whose opinion I trust who is telling me that it’s just not true. And he is working right in the epicenter of this pandemic.
I will say, however, that he has seen the same results for remdesivir that we have been hearing about. The drug is shortening the length of the illness, but not really doing much to the death rate.
On a side note, I would appreciate prayers for him. He is getting discouraged as he is having to call three to four families a week to tell them that their loved ones have died.

I’m all in on HCQ-Zpak-Zn. And I still wouldn’t believe a Chinese study if it concluded that water is wet. I consider this study to potentially be malignant disinformation.
There was some posts from an Italian article that is about how this virus attacks the blood but it looks like those have been removed because of a misleading belief that hydroxychloroquine in RA patients acts a prophylactic. But the part about the virus using hemoglobin as food and causing the blood to not be able to transport oxygen is interesting, the link above discusses that even though that one is weeks old. It is though this virus also affects the blood in a similar way that malaria does. I am getting the gist of that. And that hydroxychloroquine would also be effective against this virus in its own right not just as a transporter of zinc into cells. Perhaps.
