(CNN)Josh Brolin says visiting his father, James Brolin, and his stepmother Barbra Streisand during the pandemic lock down was "irresponsible."
The "Avengers: Endgame" star posted a video over the weekend on his verified Instagram addressing having broken social distancing rules in California with the visit.
He faced backlash after a now deleted post showing him, his wife Kathryn and their toddler daughter, Westlyn, poolside in Malibu with the elder Brolin and Streisand.
The younger Brolin posted an apology video with a caption that read "Thanks for the reset. #respectsocialdistancing."

Bah! It's not like he was Chad Everett or something.
“Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission, right?’
He just gave a confession to openly defying the Governor’s demand of shelter in place with travel and the time. In California, according to the law, you can’t leave home to visit family and friends without an urgent need to do so. Considered a misdemeanor.
Standard California misdemeanors are punishable by up to 6 months in jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000. Gross or aggravated misdemeanors are punishable by up to 364 days in jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000 or more.
Okay, where are the cops?Additionally, this offense can easily be interpreted as disorderly conduct which can be interpreted as a gross misdemeanor. Far more serious. Think of all the people he put in danger? Wasn’t this the purpose of shelter n place to begin with...to protect innocent people while he was in transit?

I hate it when I find myself defending communists... But...Big deal... Leave them be...
Yep.
Run for your lives! Shes swooping in again!
Pathetic just pathetic
James Brolin’s best role was “Herman, P.W. Herman.”
They must cut off your gonads in Kalifornia so you will comply.
I have not done anything different with my lifestyle since this virus thing started. This is a free country where citizens have freedom of association and freedom to move about as they see fit. There is no Berlin Wall. There is no demilitarized zone. There are no barbed wire checkpoints. There are no papers you have to carry for identification. No gates or walls to travel from one country or one state to another.
I come and go as I please. I don't cower in my home for fear someone might see me outside. And will not bow down to the government politicians and bureaucrats who seek to arbitrarily control our lives through denial of our freedoms and liberties.
Why should my family and I and other citizens of this county be treated like New York? We've had a couple of hundred cases and only now one or two deaths attributed to this virus. New York, on the other hand, accounts for almost a third of all deaths nationwide. Clamp down on New York and take your jack boots off the necks of those who are not at risk. This is all about politics and agendas not medicine or public health.
This a country of "We the People" not one of "Us the Government". This is America damnit. Live it or lose it.
Phuque em'.
Bravo.
So social distancing means you can’t go visit your parents? SMFH...
Is that Hillary?
You are right, of course. I see it now. uess, like most celebutards, they are publicity fame, attention-seeking whores after all. If it was as emotional as they claim, it should have remained private.
Per redwood71 and the State of CA, yes it does.
Unless, of course, you're a staaaaah.
Never apologize for visiting your dad.
Thanos my ass!
Gutless Hollywood SJW looking for forgiveness among the Godless.
Apologizing for what? Visiting your parents house?
Kiss my ass!
It really does have the stench of a double standard here, doesn’t it?

ahh.....OK then.
Must be tough being trapped in that dump...
Getting caught was the “irresponsible” part. Visiting Barbara Streisand was a sign of his mental illness.
