He just gave a confession to openly defying the Governor’s demand of shelter in place with travel and the time. In California, according to the law, you can’t leave home to visit family and friends without an urgent need to do so. Considered a misdemeanor.
Standard California misdemeanors are punishable by up to 6 months in jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000. Gross or aggravated misdemeanors are punishable by up to 364 days in jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000 or more.
Okay, where are the cops?Additionally, this offense can easily be interpreted as disorderly conduct which can be interpreted as a gross misdemeanor. Far more serious. Think of all the people he put in danger? Wasn’t this the purpose of shelter n place to begin with...to protect innocent people while he was in transit?

I have not done anything different with my lifestyle since this virus thing started. This is a free country where citizens have freedom of association and freedom to move about as they see fit. There is no Berlin Wall. There is no demilitarized zone. There are no barbed wire checkpoints. There are no papers you have to carry for identification. No gates or walls to travel from one country or one state to another.
I come and go as I please. I don't cower in my home for fear someone might see me outside. And will not bow down to the government politicians and bureaucrats who seek to arbitrarily control our lives through denial of our freedoms and liberties.
Why should my family and I and other citizens of this county be treated like New York? We've had a couple of hundred cases and only now one or two deaths attributed to this virus. New York, on the other hand, accounts for almost a third of all deaths nationwide. Clamp down on New York and take your jack boots off the necks of those who are not at risk. This is all about politics and agendas not medicine or public health.
This a country of "We the People" not one of "Us the Government". This is America damnit. Live it or lose it.
