Just went to the post office and low and behold my check arrived. Could have been there since Monday.
“Honestly, sorry for your loss and hope this wasn’t in poor taste. “
My 95 year old WWII uncle would have laughed. He had a wicked death humor all his life. Him and one other guy was the only survivors of their platoon going through Belgium. He was shot up so bad he saw through his squinting eyes Germans walking over him they thought he was dead. He was so badly wounded he spent 8 months in a hospital.
He told me on his death bed he was meeting his fellow platoon members.
God bless him.
Too late to thank him for his beyond the call of duty service to our country---but hope he reads this up there.
We are fortunate for people like your late uncle.
“direct deposit didn’t show on my statement’
you can check at the IRS site to see when your kungflu $$$ will arrive. And set up direct deposit if you wish.

WE’RE STILL UNSTIMULATED
Thank you for finding this information. It helps to explain. Cheers!
For me under claim history it shows 00.00..not a dime..last Monday I received a letter from EDD saying that I needed to provide info verifying myself..so I checked off that I was the one who applied for unemployment(Independent contractor/self employed) and also put in the envelope a photo copy of my drivers license along with a copy of my most recent pay stub which shows the address of the company I worked for(Its an entertainment company, they send people to movie theaters to write down movie trailers, obviously with the theaters closed I cant do it anymore) with their address along with my address..I have yet to hear anything back
I got mine via direct deposit a couple of days ago. My normal SS money comes on the 3rd Wednesday. When it didn’t come last month I figured it would come on the 3rd Wednesday of May. But it didn’t; I already got it.
I got nuthin......
Finally got mine, but almost as soon as it came, I had to spring for a new hot water heater + some other plumbing work, so it’s already gone. Easy come easy go I guess. But at least it covered all the work done, so it’s all good. :-)
Yep. Today.
Actually, if the whole thing was about getting money pumped into the economy, and your uncle’s estate filed taxes, the estate is probably just as eligible as any other “taxpayer.” If he passed just this past September, I imagine the estate is still open.
we got our a couple of weeks ago, not the full thing but a nice chunk...we have DD...my adult dtr lives with us, disabled and on SS....don’t know if she’ll get anything...
Follow up: Best advise is to deposit the check into the estate bank account until this wrinkle is ironed out.
They had promised they would mail mine April 24 and I received it April 25.
The IRS had previous direct deposit info for me but seemingly did not apply it since I neither paid nor received a refund for 2019, that was a hitch in their system for a few days.
Youre the lucky one. I usually owe a few hundred $ each year after paying throughout the year. There has never been a single occasion when the Federal government sent me more than I owe them, in advance, for no good purpose. Dont complain.
Nothing here
I thought they had a way to let self-employed ppl claim UI because of CoVID. I used to have my own business years ago and I know my tax return didnt really show my true earnings because of all the deductions allowed. That was good and bad sometimes, of course. Hang in there though. Things have gotta get better for all of us soon.
I think I’m in the last drop - June I guess.
I understand you get the check by default, have to sign up to get the deposit directly, right?
You are replacing a 2011 computer you are doing very well. If used at home mostly I would buy an external monitor for a MacBook Air. Can even be just 19 or 21 inches.
