A speaker addresses the small crowd gathered for a "Rhode Islanders against excessive quarantine" protest in reaction to the state's mandatory stay-at-home order as an attempt to combat COVID-19 at the Rhode Island State House in Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday, April 25, 2020. No one is protesting in my area. We are under “stay at home” until tomorrow and then we go to “safer at home”.
Place looked like an ant bed today, people driving, walking, biking, hiking, fishing, it was great. We took a 110 mile drive, check out some real estate and had a picnic.
This is how the lockdown ends, bit by bit. Protest by protest. Ignoring the fascist governors dictates. There are not enough cops to arrest everyone and the dam is breaking.
The damn is definitely breaking I think most people thought it would be maybe 3 weeks it is now 7 weeks and people everywhere have had enough they are losing everything they also realize people are not dying in the streets there are not millions of deaths, they have to feed their families enough is enough!!!
Liberals are putting people in scrubs out there for the photo ops, especially women and Asians.
The Governors are going to have to change their approach. Attorney General Barr needs to remind Governors to stop acting like dictators. Yes, the virus is out there but we need to make the appropriate modifications as we gradually return to “normalcy”.
We went for a drive today too. Went out to some of our favorite haunts... we saw more ppl out in the woods today, where we have been going for 5+ yrs, than we have seen out there total in all of those years.
Ppl in CO fed up with this craziness.
