Televangelist Jim Bakker said hes been cut off by credit card companies after he was accused of selling a fake coronavirus cure and asked viewers to send cash or checks or he may have to file for bankruptcy.
You cant use credit cards if you do give to our ministry at this time because theres a situation, Bakker said on his show this week. He told viewers that the government said, You sold products that we didnt approve of, but thats not what we did.

He was always a con man.
There’s a whole lot more of them that God will say: “You did WHAT with my money!!??”
PS: I guess he didn’t learn from that last con he ran and wound up in prison.
Many years ago, a good friend of mine went under the spell of this Bakker guy after his wife unexpectedly passed away. Sold his house and most of his stuff and moved to their “compound” which then was in SC. Pretty much became a pauper.
He should have been happy with the TV thing he had going with Tammy in the late 70s.

Don' matter what you learn if ya cane do nuthin' else.
Not my pastor. I guess he overbooked a time share hotel. Never heard that he headed up an international pedophilia operation, though.
That SOB
No words to describe my contempt for this “man”
Wonder why the brain dead jerk thought he could run another scam plus the people that actually watch his show.
People are idiots for sending guys like him money.
And yet, he’s got many suckered into doing just that.
ping
Lots of stupid people out there
I first learned of American Labs Silver Products many years ago ( liquid, gel and lozenges from the Jim Bakker show.) By the way the lozenges are sold out on most sites. It is wonderful stuff . . .I notice there is a terrific price gouging on Amazon for the items. Our whole family would not be without it. It has does some miraculous stuff. . .of course with prayer. . .even my pet benefited from it- - -almost mauled to death. My father had been given very high doses of antibiotics for urinary track infections and I decided enough of that and without telling the doctor n gave him the silver sol liquid. No more infections!!! He kept thumbing through my Dad’s chart. . .I didn’t say a word.
The gel clears up scars . . .the lozenges are great! I could go on and on about personal testimonies of families and friends and even some strangers I gave the stuff to. I as well as many I know owe a lot to learning about these American Lab products from the Jim Bakker Show. (I even checked to see if I could buy stock in the company at the time. . .was not available) I hope this incident will pass.
Like what PT Barnum said, there’s always a sucker born every minute. Our Business 101 professor at Stanford uses that line every time.
Horrible, loathsome, vile, thieving, predatory bastard. I would sooner break bread with a bank robber.
But he’s reely reely sorry and won’t do it again so git that check in the mail!
I wouldn’t buy anything from him. He sells prepper stuff, and various supplements.
But does it not bother anyone that they have cut off his banking? They don’t like what he sells, so his banks shut him down? That strikes me as strange.
I have heard of conservative you tubers whose banks shut them down. It just seems like a bad precedent. What stops them from deciding FR is drawing outside of the lines and shutting off its ability to collect money?
