Tom Brady is still finding his way around Tampa Bay. It must be hard to leave home after 20 years.

The new Buccaneers quarterback on Thursday acknowledged a report that he accidentally entered the wrong house earlier this month. Brady thought he'd arrived at the residence of Tampa Bay offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich but instead went next door to Leftwich's neighbor's, per TMZ.

Tampa resident David Kramer told TMZ that Brady walked right through his front door holding duffel bags before realizing he was in the wrong place.

"I literally was just sitting here and I watch this tall guy just walk into my house," Kramer said. "... He didn't even look at me. He just like dropped his duffel bags down on the floor and just kind of like looked up at me and I'll never forget the look on his face.

"He just goes, 'Am I in the wrong house?!'"

Brady quickly apologized upon learning the mistake and left with a smile, Kramer said.

Earlier this week, Brady was asked to leave a local park in the midst of a workout because it was closed. The six-time Super Bowl champion has since expressed a good sense of humor over his humbling start to life outside of New England.

"Trespassing in parks, breaking and entering... Just making myself at home in Tompa Bay!"

There’s also a funny story about Bob Dylan.
Intending to drop in on fellow musician Dave Stewart at his home in an English suburb, he
knocks at door of the wrong house on a similar-sounding street, & asks the housewife if Dave is home.

The housewife, who didn’t recognize Dylan but whose husband’s name also happened to be Dave, tells him Dave would be home soon & please wait & have a cuppa tea in the kitchen.

Husband Dave returns from work, asks wife, what is Bob Dylan doing in our kitchen?

I’ve done that!
The key actually turned over the ignition! Then I realized, wait, my truck isn’t this clean!

Same thing happened to me. Same truck as me. Same color. Kept trying until the person I was with yelled at me, “wtf are you doing? Your truck is over here.”

Obviously not a football fan. You could have at least gotten an autograph for the trouble...…

On the wall, in foot tall letters.

I’ve stuck a key in the wrong car before. I was trying to unlock an identical make, model and color in the parking lot when I noticed the seat colors were different. Oops. Looked around hoping the real owner wasn’t walking toward the car.

I remember a few decades back when it wasn’t uncommon for the key to actually work.

“I literally was just sitting here and I watch this tall guy just walk into my house,”

It never ceases to amaze me how many homeowners leave their doors unlocked all the time.
