Open Thread: NFL Draft 2020 Day 1 First Round

As some momentary relief from a sports less world tonight Thursday is the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. I will be booing Roger Goodell. From all the reports I have read the Bengals and 'Skins are locked into picking Bayou Joe Burrow and Chase Young. Where the action might get interesting is Detroit at number 3 with reports the front office is divided in who to pick and other teams eyeing to move up to perhaps pick off Tua. Be interesting if there are technical issues during this virtual draft.

Washington takes Chase Young. Again, no surprise.A good safe pick. The Redskins have so many holes to fill may as well start with defense.

Matt Patricia said a lot of insulting things to his best CB (according to him) Darius Slay, so much so that Slay rebelled and they had to trade him. So they were desperate. Okudah was going high, CB is a premium position in todays NFL and he is considered the best in the draft this year, and after him and one or two others it’s thin pickings.
