Then we’re toast.

An army of self driving cars will soon be running us down while space ships laser us from space.

A billion is probably too many, unless you’re talking about keeping an eye on liberals. Then it’s not enough because you’ve got to keep an eye on those b***ards from every angle.

Satellites are like sex, you can never get enough......

Not only can you not get enough, you don't get enough...

DO you know how to use google and wikipedia?

It’s because Starlink does NOT need the ground component. 90% of the gear is GONE.

It’s like comparing a hot air balloon to a jet

They can’t shoot down a swarm.

How far does a high powered laser travel in space, and what's the maximum pulse rate without overheating? :)

Hey, talk about Skynet, that “Terminator: Resistance” PC game on Steam has good reviews.

It’s showing at a pricey $39.99 but put it on your list to buy at the annual sale. Looks like a winner and really fits with this whole totalitarian takeover.

Perfect for the times....unfortunately.

BS. I say the Right goes total AI and pushes for allowing synthetics to vote and gets the jump on that potentially huge voter bloc before the dems.

RLM = Robot Lives Matter! Here have a ballot.

Thanks.

I wish steam was publicly traded. They’ve certainly got enough of my money.

My college kids and I get in the living room with 3 laptops and play cooperative games like Terraria, Crea, vorderlands And we just bought Salt. Haven’t tried it yet.

Starlink would be a boon to those of us out here in the boondocks. Only semi-decent internet out here is cellular. Geosynchronous satellite internet is terrible.

The long formations occur only right after launch. Once they get to their final configuration, this won’t be the case.

After the first Starlink internet satellites launched in May, astronomers noticed that the little satellites are quite reflective and bright. With SpaceX reporting it wants to put 42,000 of these satellites in the sky, astronomers were concerned about it washing out parts of the night sky.

So now the company plans to treat one of the Starlink satellites with a special coating, when the next group goes in late December, according to SpaceX president and chief operating officer Gwynne Shotwell.
