For what it is worth.

they are supposed to be mandatory in New York City but I go in and out of stores with no problem without it on and very few others have it on at least at local stores

See, I don’t wear a mask for protection as it’s obviously BS. I wear a mask so they’ll let me in the store.

I have one mask that I keep in a plastic bag and only put on to go into stores. When I get home I put it in a 170 degree oven for 30 minutes to kill anything that might have settled on it while I was out. I sit it on the plastic bag so that also gets disinfected.

Wait wait, Didn’t WHO just announce that face masks are no good and could even make it worse for anyone?

When considering whether to don masks, should we take account of what WHO tells us?
WHO Says No Evidence Masks Worn By Healthy People Saves Lives, In Fact, It Could Cause Infections
Here in California, our grocery stores started requiring masks to enter the store as of today. I'd pull my t-shirt up over my mouth, but that would expose my belly and would probably empty the store. Guess I need to find another approach.

I'm still puzzling over the paper towel mask suggested in this article. It says to use rubber bands over the ears, but I think that would shred the paper towel.

I'm still inclined to go with the FRAM filter approach...

I don’t want to make my own mask. I want to distribute air tight plastic bags to leftists to use as masks.

I saw a “tutorial” on how to make a mask out of old clothes and when he was showing it off, the mirror behind him showed he had cut it off his backside. It was pretty funny.

Please be sure and clean these daily. Otherwise all you do is carry around lots of crap

Here’s what I discovered today: My blue mask was comfortable and wide, but kept falling off as it just had strings that go behind the ears. My surgical mask had rubber bands but was little and uncomfortable.

Solution: Put blue mask on first, then the surgical mask over it to hold it in place. Comfortable, snug, and secure. It probably looks a little weird but it works.

BOO! wonder how long the mask rules would be in effect if these were worn in public.

And NO, I’m not going to try and find out.

The blue shop towels are supposed to be the most tightly woven so they may be best suited for this purpose.
