Pringles, the brand that has always embraced new and unique chip flavors, is offering up some comfort food amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Their latest flavor, Chicken & Waffles, is a whole meal in one bite.
Chip lovers began spotting the sweet-and-savory item at Dollar General stores.
Instagram user @carbconnoissuer noted that the the flavor is exclusive to the wallet-friendly franchise.
The packaging on the orange-yellow can also indicates that the chips wont be around for long.
If you want to get your hands on these limited edition chips, you have to act fast.
The user gave the chips a taste-test and described them as having a a very faint smell of maple syrup, and they have a very dull chicken flavor to them.
It seems as though the chip leans heavier into the chicken aspect of the meal, so if you were hoping for a bit of sweetness to kick in, you may be out of luck.
Instagram user @candyhunting revealed the chips are retailing for $1.50.
The Southern brunch specialty might seem like an unlikely flavor, but Pringles isnt the only one giving it a chance. Lays also brought back their Chicken and Waffles chips at Kroger stores earlier this month, according to Yahoo.
Pringles is known for releasing wacky flavors that have raised an eyebrow or two as limited-edition offerings. Some of their more interesting flavors include Ramen, White Chocolate Peppermint, Pecan Pie, Cinnamon Sugar Tortillas, and Wasabi & Soy Sauce.
In November, the brand also embraced the holiday festivities and launched a stackable trio of turducken-flavored chips.
Maybe Charles Chips? But a bigger can. 🤗
How about shrimp and grits? I’ve never understood that combo...
Besides....
Eating a “Heart Attack on a Platter” is never a good idea...
How many calories are in chicken and waffles?
Nutrition Facts

I remember those! Do they still sell them?
Two great foods. But foods that should not be eaten together.
...
Never mind the Pringles base chip that is made out of cheap grease and cardboard.
I was in the Grocery store the other day and noticed something called BEEF bacon.
Somehow that seems obscene or at least doesn’t sound ‘right’.
What next- cauliflower ice cream? Nancy????
Couple years ago Denny’s went on a Bacon Binge...had bacon everything— I sorta drew the line at bacon milk shakes or something equally as non good sounding..IMNSHO
I remember when they were delivered.
Apparently so! Wow...I thought they were long gone. I could make a meal out of a can of their chips. Their BBQ chips were the best.
We used to have those delivered to the house when I was a kid.

Pringles = salted cardboard. This stuff should have been rejected decades ago.
Now when Pringles roll out their Bat Soup flavored chips, then I'll be interested.
THANK YOU. I've never understood it either. I've heard it called a great, traditional combination, but I had never heard of it until about 5 years ago. The idea is nauseating to me, at least.
Beef bacon when done correctly is AWESOME
If only they were that good. I always thought they might be made out of dandruff, pressed into chips.
I won’t buy anything but beef hot dogs, but if I order out probably end up with the chicken or turkey or whatever.
Used to eat hot dogs and hamburger raw...
of course we had rumble seats and rode in the back of a pickup and rode bicycles without helmets etc etc etc
Don’t think the raw would be a good idea today....<: <: <:

Yes, I’ll have the “June Bear” with a side order of 911.
That restaurant is the only reason to set foot in Oak Park.

Ooooh baby! They've become a weekly thing at my house.
