Fox morning news is reporting that Oil Prices have dropped to 11 dollars per barrel. What does this mean? Eliminate and/or reduce gas taxes and we may have .33 cents per gallon gas again.
We’ll see who is being dramatic when your 401 evaporates more than it has and you cannot feed yourself. Remember you said it. I think you were one of the Fearpers. But then agian you are wrong about just about everything. Sit down pops and let the intelligent people post, go have a YooHoo and watch your Jeopardy.
Wow, 39 states. I did not realize that. SO, other than New England, what other states DO NOT produce crude oil?
NH, MA, ME, RI, CT, VT, ???
What is Irans primary source of revenue? Petroleum products?
The US does produce energy but still have some manufacturing, R&D, consumer products,...
The tariff would strengthen any US based oil stocks not weaken that position. Fearper? No way. All of this is a hoax. TARIFF NOW AND ALWAYS! US OIL RULES!!!
LOCUSTS you say! That sucks. Where is their mini-gawd allah when they really need him? Persians are natural born Zoroastrians and need to kill off the bearded bastards/Mullahs that lord over them.
Nice!
WTI current contract at $11.59 better update your computer screen.
Although oil isn't stored LT in barrels...like we think of barrels.
That's purely a function of domestic policy. Clearly we have the ability to ramp up oil production quickly and effectively in this country. If we have to magically start fighting in the Middle East again over oil, it's not because of our need for their oil but the need for politicians to distract us with more bullshit.
Frankly, I think they've spent that dime. People are sick to death of endless ME garbage with the hajis, and Trump showed how fast we can become #1 in energy production. God help the next suited clown who gets on TV with a straight face and tells us how important it is to spend American lives and money in another ME shithole for no definable reason other than some vague "moral imperative."
$10.02 now.
I’m in Lexington, too. Hi neighbor. :)
I like cheap gas as much as you, but this is still bad news for the world economy. In a market world, dirt-cheap today means shortages tomorrow.
To quote the Critical Drinker, “Naw. It’ll be fine.”
It is an amazing thing to watch. I feel like the Bruce Willis character in 12 Monkeys visiting the past, knowing exactly how this whole thing is going to end up, and it won’t be pretty.
States are greedy, too and DemSoc states are greedier than most...
Stunning that some moronic pearl clutchers are actually calling for extending the lockdowns!
There is nothing in my post that suggests in any way that I approve of the demoncraps shutting everything down except mosques. Why I said is that low oil prices are nothing to celebrate. It's indicative of the harm the shutdown is doing to our economy. I've already upped my standards. Up yours.
Gas still costs $2.15 a gallon in Oregon.
Sad to see this but happy I don’t have to make a living in the oilfield anymore.
Never quite get away from it though. The state I live in relies on oil for much of their revenue. The oilfield spends lots of money and pays well when it pays. Looks like we are going back to the 60s when working drilling rigs were scarce as hen’s teeth.
Here in LA $2.36 the state can’t pass up the tax money.
OK, we’ll BOTH up our standards. Nice one!
...and, correction taken. Thanks for elaborating.
