Stumbled upon the Code of Vets on Twitter @codeofvets and codeofvets on Facebook. After researching this charity have tried to make a donation every paycheck but they're being overwhelmed.
They are a 501 (c) 3 charity (32-0582177) and can be verified. They claim overhead expenses of 1% which for a charity is fantastic. A lot of charities take $1.00 and $0.10 is used to help who they support.
If you can donate even $5.00 via PayPal, they're down to their last $130.00 after spending close to a million dollars making sure veterans can pay their rent, utilities or just groceries.
Their PayPal address is paypal.me/codeofvets The lady who runs the charity lost her father to Agent Orange.
Been donating to them for a year. They get banned on Twitter frequently because they are patriots.
Thanks!
Since I’ve been following them for the past several months, I don’t believe they’ve been banned.
You bet. Please research but everything I’ve seen of them is legit.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. God bless.
Ask them

I don’t doubt you, it’s just that since I started following them, I’m no aware of any social media bans.
Gretchen is one fine lady
I dont donate a lot to them, but I have and will do later.
Please help them if you can
Love Gretchen and COV.
If you have heard of CODE OF VETS, they could use some help
Thanks for the important info! .
Thank you for the post, Mean Daddy.
We don’t easily see these folks who are helping save veterans, every day.
I just added Code of Vets to my giving list and sent them some bucks.
I’ll keep an eye on them...
Thank you. Lots of great organizations but when you have 1% overhead, that’s a great charity.
Most people don’t know, but most companies will allow you to direct your United Way donation to the charity of your choice. I currently donate to Samaritan’s Purse but considering switching to Code of Vets at the next campaign.
