My advice to anyone living in a state or city controlled by idiots is to move. I live in rural East Texas. We do not give up our freedoms easily or tolerate politicians like Cuomo.

In suburban Chicago (RED areas), a local hospital is routinely prescribing HCQ and ZPAC to patients - with a very successful recovery rate. Big Pharma “hates” it when a cheap drug can be used for this type of widespread Pandemic. There seems to be no concern for the supply chain. Pritzker still poo-poos the idea.

Sounds like a death threat by her doctor and her politicians.

I know how I handle death threats.

Here's the previous post:

**********************************

Did Sean ask him about his ban on HCQ for doctors???

Yes, Hannity asked Cuomo about the HCQ. Sean brought up the two hospitals where its use is widespread, one where Dr.Oz practices and a second one whose name I forget.

Sean did not ask Cuomo about his refusing its use at first, then allowing it only when the patient is near a ventilator, when it does not seem to work as well (at all?), what are the NY results of using it, etc.

Sean did specifically ask him if doctors could now get it for their patients. Cuomo said that doctors could now get a prescription for 14 days. Then he added, with regret in his tone of voice, "It's been politicized." I thought, yes, politicized by you!

It doesn’t have to do with the FDA...it’s Benito Cuomo.

Exactly- Put cuomo to shame, and let people know that because he is failing them, these republican warriors will come to their rescue- maybe get a ton of converts that way too

Bet cuomo would change his tune pronto if they did that!

i still think though the vast majority of places won’t allow doctors to prescribe it- as per the letter the OP’s sister sent to her doc-

I think The OP’s sister should write to a republican gov in another state, and explain the situation to them and ask them why noone is standing up to this tyranny by cumo and asking that gov if there is any way around the dangerous EO by cumo?

I agree! This has been my biggest worry during this whole ordeal.

so for Virginia what does this mean to us?

Prescriptions for chloroquine, hydroxychloroquine, mefloquine and azithromycin should be restricted in the outpatient setting and should require a diagnosis “consistent with the evidence for its use.”
Community pharmacists should use professional judgement to determine whether a prescription is valid and that there is a bona fide practitioner-patient relationship prior to dispensing.
Prioritize treatment for continuation of existing medication therapy, inpatient settings, and other indications where there is not an alternative therapy.

I am NOT advocating this course of action. It is illegal.

Nonetheless, it is possible to order this from a pharmacy in Canada or India. They will ship you both hydroxychloroquine and azythromyacin. Follow the protocol along with zinc vitamins. Go sit in the sun, if the weather is nice.

It must be comforting to live in a state whose governor is so well-versed in medical treatment of the Wuhan China virus that he directs which treatments doctors can prescribe to his state’s citizens. You must feel blessed.

Imagine the outrage if he told a woman that she cannot kill her unborn child.

I ordered plaquenil and azithromycin from a Canadian pharmacy on March 21. I Received an email last week inducating that it will arrive no sooner than May 15. I canceled the order and requested a full refund due to the ridiculous delay in shipping.

Although I did cancel my order from the out of country pharmaceutical distributor I am no longer concerned because Texas has since not restricted doctor’s ability to prescribe this protocol. I have personally verified this with our family practitioner.
