At the entrance I was stopped, answered questions - have I travelled, been in contact with covid positive patient, etc. No to all and given a mask and waited in an empty waiting room for under five minutes. EMT’s had stopped the bleeding so wasn’t bleeding on the floor. Severe damage to several fingers, bit to the bone. Animal control took the big pit away. Awaiting for pain meds to kick in as local wears off. BTW, we only have one Doc, a contract DR from PHX who comes in for ten days and is replaced. Our population is 40,000 so should have more. However, very ptofessional, from Colorado, trained in emergency medicine at Mt. Sinai hospital in NYC. Very glad to be treated by him.
