Pointing out an important note in the update above... there are still people in serious condition in Japan from the Diamond Princess cruise ship. How long has it been since the people disembarked the cruise ship? A month?

South Korean health officials are investigating several possible explanations for a small but growing number of recovered coronavirus patients who later test positive for the virus again.

Among the main possibilities are re-infection, a relapse, or inconsistent tests, experts say.

South Korea had reported 141 such cases as of Thursday, according to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC)...

At least 5,670 people living in long-term care facilities have died from the coronavirus across the U.S., according to state health data reviewed by NBC News.

Why it matters (comment-why do they have to ask why this matters?) The CDC warns that older people and those with other health complications face a higher risk of dying from the virus, amplifying its effect within such facilities — where around 2.5 million Americans live.
At least 3,466 facilities in 39 states have so far reported coronavirus infections.

There’s a reason Trump is all over WHO’s butt. The lab/s were reported being sloppy a couple years ago. Why was nothing done back then?

You would be surprise how many closet smokers their are. A lot of people hide the fact they smoke because of smokers discriminations. Some companies will not hire smokers now.

Bingo!

Essential work crews are needed for new cabanas going up on either side of me and a third neighbor has gone through a half dozen crews just to repair his deck. Yeppers, so very essential. Not.

Stay home. Stop going out for those non-essential milk/beer/Starbuck’s runs. No, you don’t need a new pair of shoes because no one at home (you are staying home?) cares you’re wearing shoes. No, you don’t need a new shade of nail polish from Walmart and you certainly don’t need to drag along your four kids. No, you don’t need to install new carpeting this week. No, you don’t need to load up the family and take their germs on vacation.

Two weeks after first testing positive for coronavirus,
@drsanjaygupta gets @ChrisCuomo to reveal a setback in his recovery, saying he was unable to make it 72 hours with showing signs of fever.

And yet he evidently removed himself from quarantine.

Re: 153 - ?

Not sure why you sent this?

Personally, if I need stuff I can mostly order on-line. have not been in a grocery store in 5 weeks.

I do however, need a new pair of shoes, as we start our seasonal ornithology research in earnest on Saturday, so lots of walking!
