Yesterday I was listening to Rush and there was a commercial played (for IHeart Radio, I think) about a concert to raise money for, of all things, the World Health Organization. Did anyone else hear about this?

Blind Italian guy with a nice voice. It's getting a bit brittle at his age, but it's still pretty good. Cinema Paradiso - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUSBLeSu-O4

Let's just hope he never touched a woman on the shoulder while crossing the street. Then he'd be in trouble!

A very good voice. He was blinded as the result of a freak soccer accident.

He’s done some great duets (esp. with Sarah Brightman).

He’s one of the best. Loved his ‘Lords Prayer’ rendition. He also does some nice Christmas concerts, a lot of them are on YouTube.

Famous opera singer who happens to be blind. Women love him.

His video is the #1 steaming video on youtube.

I would highly recommend it. It is well worth 25 minutes of your time. Especially the last song “Ava Maria”

I sent the youtube link to all my contacts yesterday.

One of my friends out west who is a 50 something year old woman replied back that she loves him, “that she saw him in Vegas 12 years ago”

I replied back: “ Awesome, did he SEE you too?”

She replied back” You’re going to H#LL”

“He was blinded as the result of a freak soccer accident.”

Might have been a “header”. He was 12 years old. Its probably a good idea not to have your young youngsters do that. Don’t know just when the teeny-boppers skulls reach maximum hardness, but 12 might be marginal.
