Mr Streeck is a professor for virology and the director of the Institute of virology and HIV Research at the University Bonn. He explained the methodology of his new study in Heinsberg, the epicentre of Germanys COVID-19 outbreak, and talked about potential plans for a country to move forward gradually in getting back to a normal life.
These research findings have already provided some indication on how the virus works, as Streeck clarified:
There is no significant risk of catching the disease when you go shopping. Severe outbreaks of the infection were always a result of people being closer together over a longer period of time, for example the après- ski parties in Ischgl, Austria. He could also not find any evidence of living viruses on surfaces. When we took samples from door handles, phones or toilets it has not been possible to cultivate the virus in the laboratory on the basis of these swabs

I have heard at least one instance of Japanese citizens using cell phones or laser rangefinders to make sure that they are at least the regulation distance apart from others, yes.
Too many variables for “proof” of transmission vector. Or lack thereof.
It’s a matter of statistical confidence.
In PA you’re being required to get a special permit. He looked into that and the process is so complex he didn’t bother.
most construction here is deemed essential. Go to work.
Appears it doesn’t strike Authoritarian mentalities as much as normal folks. At least that would explain Fauci’s recommendations.
Put it to you this way. Germany is the only country I’ve ever been in where the following is believable: On an empty street at 2AM, people will stand waiting for a broken crosswalk light to change for 15 minutes. And once they realize that it won’t change, they wait some more. Then they go walk the other way to the next light instead of chancing it and jaywalking. This is a joke I’ve heard from Germans, but I would believe it if I saw people doing it in person.
There is also a German heavy metal song that has the entirely unironic, unsarcastic, heartfelt refrain, “We stand strong to obey the rules.” Not kidding.
This is why Maine, NH, Vermont, Nebraska, Wyoming, the Dakotas, Montana, and West Virginia are the bottom nine in terms of numbers.
The whole country had "that model" when I was born, but that country is long gone and she's not coming back.
I’ve read it can be found on surfaces for awhile but it’s ability to be infectious only last for 2-3 days.
Except the Germans have been testing. Their mortality rate is less than .1
Currently Germanys death/cases rate, which was for a while less than 0.1%, and at 0.38% on 22 March, is now up to 2% and rising. Itll probably end up around 3.4% if the new treatments arent dramatically better.

The question is why are the Germans putting out something so loony.
Except the Germans have been testing. Their mortality rate is less than .1
Heres Germany compared to its early numbers:
Nordic/Germanic countries from 3/9:
How is it that Germany has 800 cases and zero deaths? Other countries are similar. Norway, Sweden, hundreds of cases, no deaths.
Summary:
Germany has 1151 cases, no deaths
Norway, 176 cases, no deaths
Sweden with 203 cases, no deaths
Finland, with 30 cases, no deaths
Denmark, with 35 cases, no deaths
.
Some differences might be because of definitions, however, there are a couple of other things going on:
1) Germanys initial infected were nearly all athletic young folks who contracted the disease from ski trips to Italy. This group is known to be more able to overcome the disease.
2) Germanys numbers were *extremely* low at 0.38% as recently as 22 March, but have been changing, possibly A) because the population of infected now more closely matches their population; B) because a lot of the infected were infected at very similar times, they had not gotten past the death lag, and C) because they are so late in the cycle that they are using the more recent treatment regimens.
Currently Germanys death/cases rate, which was for a while less than 0.1%, and at 0.38% on 22 March, is now up to 2% and rising. Itll probably end up around 3.4% if the new treatments arent dramatically better.

Viruses on surfaces aren't really alive, genius. They do exist with the potential to infect people on these surfaces for a period of time, said time period being dependent on the composition of the surface. After that, they break down and "die."
And no, the term “genius” isn’t referring to you, but to the alleged virologist.
The truth is coming out more. Not the NWO lies.
Wes been hornswoggled!
Yep.
Yup. Deep state at it again. They are more than willing to destroy lives. A lot more lives are destroyed in a Great Depression than they are by losing your diabetic grandpa to the flu.
Yep, why didn’t people drop dead like flies from going to the grocery stores?
Even before they found their inner Nazi and start forcing people to go through a ‘rat maze or wear a mask.
K, back to work America.
...which is the variable that matters - personal awareness and caution. Our behavior has changed.
IMHO wearing masks, excessively washing hands, and distancing would have a huge impact. I believe the problem in NYC was the subway - it’s filthy and everyone uses it.
If we identify the most likely environments for contraction that will also change behavior. Although I’m not sure what to do about cities dominated by subways - I suppose excessive cleaning but you’re still going to have every holding he same handrails constantly and breathing close to each other. We’ll see how people react to using it once things open up.
“Except the Germans have been testing. Their mortality rate is less than .1”
When the Germans put their mind to it and their Germaness comes out, they do not F around. They do not suffer fools gladly.
“Yes, they should change the guidelines from Stay Home to Stay Outdoors.”
Yet we have some genius police arresting surfers, fishermen, joggers, campers etc.
