Are you saying they not only had paint that lasted thousands of years (unlike paint today) but they also had light sources without smoke? Right? What are you REALLY saying?

Excellent, as always. So much better than a lot of scribbling that passes as “art” these days. Please, please,(although I do think you are sane so I’m sure you wouldn’t) don’t ever make a Basquait video.
Some of the animals, especially at Altamira suggest those found in centuries old Chinese scroll work. There’s something about the quality of the drawings and the limited palette of both.
In a little less than 20 years looking at hundreds of pieces by local artists I’ve seen ONE watercolor that could have come from those caves. The Ancient Artists really knew their stuff.
