I’ve been having serious difficulties looking at Twitter in a browser. TEXOKIE seems to have been having a similar problem.
Symptoms: Everything ok, then suddenly Twitter pages won’t load. Browser with Twitter just hangs. Closing the browser windows with T in them does not fix the problem. Closing the browser entirely fixes it. Deleting the T cookies fixes it.
I *believe* (but don’t know) that they have changed their cookies. I’m assuming they are spying on us more and more. I have 2 guesses about the cookies: 1. The hangs are deliberate in order to slow us down. 2. They have inserted more spyware into their cookies/process, but there is an inadvertent bug which causes it to hang.

I followed your suggestion to close out my browser of any open tabs (windows) and restart. That did the trick!
Your thought about the change in cookie policy seems plausible to me....but I’m not technologically gifted, so what do I know? [I confess ignorance in how to look at the cookie monitor and know what I’m looking at!...and at this moment in time, I am blissful in my ignorance! LOL! I’m just grateful you had the effective suggestion!]
Thanks for getting me back on track so I don’t have my nose pressed to the window any more when I look at all the twitter links we have on Q and our threads!
I have been having trouble with some web sites like Gab. All of a sudden I can’t get to them without that stupid prove you are not a robot screen.
Then after you click that you get a whole bunch of pictures and you have to click on the buses or trains. Then another screen of click the buses. Then you get 2 screens of click the cars.
And some of the pics are not very clear, so telling the differences between buses and trains is not clear enough.
Seems like a deliberate attempt to discourage visiting the sites. And it doesn’t happen for sites like Amazon. Annoying.
