OZARK COUNTY, Mo. -- In a Facebook post Thursday, Ozark County Sheriff Darrin Reed asked community members to check on their elderly neighbors and family members from a distance.
The Ozark County Sheriff's Office tells KY3 that four elderly residents were found deceased over the past ten days.
Ozark County Deputy Cpl. Curtis Dobbs says none of the deaths were suspicious nor related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Deputies say all four residents died from natural causes.
It's unclear when the residents died, but Reed says they were deceased for awhile.
what kind of insanity do we have!
but fearpers would argue at least they didn't die of the Covid....
But we're burning the village in order to save it, so it's OK.
Its not unusual for Meals on Wheels volunteers to discover unresponsive clients on their rounds.
My wife and I are 80 plus, and we get texts/emails/phone calls from our family/friends to check on us from locals to those 1000+ miles away.
We have two neighbors within a city block, who check on us.
My wife is one of 2 dozen people in our church, who call on anywhere from 15 to two dozen people or families twice a week to see how they are doing. If they need transportation or groceries, or ????
She is on the phone now re adding a church member to our prayer list.
Very good, and kudos to the missus! You have a good circle of friends, family, and neighbors.
When this hysteria passes there will probably be a lot of stories such as this. Another consequence of the draconian short sightedness.
Let's see in another month who will be wearing egg on their faces. Problem is, being the 'winner' is still the loser in the bigger scheme of things.
Do you mean the same elderly people who vote for democrats who then make laws or execute executive orders like we currently have that clearly take away our freedoms?
Nah, I would rather not.

Creepy. is this still taking place? Odd deaths like this where there is no one to check on them? is there an update on this?
I haven’t heard of any new deaths or developments. At that time, everyone was barricaded in their homes and the elderly weren’t being looked in-on as they normally would be. Sad state of affairs.
