Police say they have identified the woman they say yelled at Shady Maple Farm Market customers for not following social distancing guidelines and slapped another customer.
Rene L. Simonini, 57, of Elverson Borough in Chester County, has been charged with harassment and disorderly conduct, both summary violations, by East Earl Township police.
On the morning of April 2, Simonini cut the deli line at the market, East Earl Township police said, and then yelled at nearby customers for not keeping their distance from her.
When a customer confronted the woman, she slapped the customer and then fled the store, police said.

A few weeks back I went to Sams club. They just started letting a few people in at a time doing the social distancing. I went in and was shopping. I was next to the shelves on my right. I stop and was looking across at an item I needed behind this women. She was standing there really angry shaking her head and I asked is something wrong. She yelled at me “social distancing”. I said I need something on the shelf you’re in front of and told her we are more than 6 feet apart. She huffed off like I touched her space. Had to be a liberal. She had practice protecting her space. I imagine many people were yelled at like me as she roamed the store. It must be terrible to be so angry all the time.

“Keep your distance! You are too CLOSE to me!!! Back off!!!!! SLAP!!!!!!”
Seems like there’s an easy solution to somebody getting too close to you, but I just can’t think of it right now. Hmmmm.

I said it the other day. Lots of sick people aren’t getting their meds due to state health shutdowns. Also why wasn’t she charged with assault if she slapped someone?

Yep. I hate public buffets and began avoiding them long before this current health bruhaha.
A couple weeks ago I was standing on the new blue “X” in the checkout line at the local supermarket with my cart in front of me. The woman in front of me was paying. She told me in a very unfriendly voice “Get back.”
I said “No. I’m on the blue ‘X’.”
She yelled at me “Get back!!”
I replied “No, I’m not moving. I’m on the store’s blue ‘X’.”
When I was paying a few minutes later, she was over at Customer Service yakking her head off and gesticulating toward me. I think she must have been complaining to the store manager about me.
