Chris Cuomo is getting up close and personal about his battle with COVID-19 — and the reason he’s so intimate is because he wants folks to know they can fight and win.
The CNN anchor is still working and aired his x-ray Monday night during his show ... and Dr. Sanjay Gupta joined him to evaluate the state of Chris’ lungs. Gupta says there’s definite signs of inflammatory fluid build-up ... a tell-tale sign of coronavirus.
Chris passionately explained how he’s doing everything he can at home to avoid going to the hospital and adding one more patient to an already-flooded and overworked healthcare system in crisis at the moment. Sounds like what he’s doing — on his doctor’s advice — might well be working.
He told viewers he’s constantly moving — getting up, laying on his side, stretching, talking, whatever — to keep the virus on its toes, ‘cause he says it’s banking on people becoming sedentary and passive as it sets up shop in the body ... particularly in the chest.
Chris added that he truly feels this is happening to him for a reason — namely, to help others.
NY and NJ are both down today in new cases. If anything the curve is flattening across the board. Hopefully this will persist if not continue downward.

It’s depressing, but it’s also very important that these numbers be noted and analyzed.
It’s the only real way to understand what we are dealing with and how best to deal with it.

Yup- i also noted that cuomo this morning was trying to steal President’s thunder by claiming the ships were his idea for allowing covid patients- and a couple of other points too- cuomo was basically making it seem like he had to talk the Pres into allowing it- Like Cuomo was the big savior of sick folks in NY- when the fact is- He’s done more to make sure that sick people don’t make it, don’t survive, than any other gov- The media was eating it up too-
If there’s any justice in htis world, the left will be exposed for the sick people they truly are-
Wouldn;t it be awesome if NY and Virginia, and NV etc went republican for decades because of what cuomo did to his people? That would be awesome retribution-
he seems a little freaked out. it is starting to take hold in his lungs...we all know where it can go from there in the blink of an eye.

I’ve been looking at the NY data. They appear to report Current Hospitalizations but show Total hospitalizations number (the number increases but the new admission number each day). ICU data is also cumulative on most sites.
Cuomo noted this weekend that 74% of those hospitalized have been discharged.
If one takes today’s figure 17,493
subtract total discharges 14,950
the number doesn’t look too big 2,543
either the numbers are way off or . . .

I’ve given up on watching these numbers closely. There is so much noise in the reporting you can’t tell much of anything.

Just got a call that my corona swab came back negative with no traces. Being over 60 this is a relief!
