I have some friends who are uhm...not Republicans and they are insisting The President declare some sort of national Emergency under some assumed imprimature, of which, I am unaware he is able to do under the Constitution.
Then, after two weeks, we can be done with it and go back to business.

They didnt overrule it for 75 years! In fact they repeatedly refused to overrule it over the same period of time. They only recently did as a matter of political correctness.

Now, you are desperately trying to flip the script and brush off the reasoning in Trump v. Hawaii as “political correctness.”
You do understand that it was the “politically incorrect” judges that expressly overruled Korematsu, right? You know, those “politically correct” justices like Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch.
Do you know why Korematsu wasn’t relegated to the trash bin earlier? Because it was universally derided as wrongly decided, and no one needed to overrule it expressly, until it was trotted out by the politically correct Sotomayor.
So it’s patently obvious that you don’t have a clue as to what you are talking about. You got called out on your ignorance, and completely and utterly owned.
