I have some friends who are uhm...not Republicans and they are insisting The President declare some sort of national Emergency under some assumed imprimature, of which, I am unaware he is able to do under the Constitution.

Then, after two weeks, we can be done with it and go back to business.

I’ve wondered all along if people wouldn’t be “shell shocked” by all this for some time. Like I said two weeks ago, were gonna pull out of this but we’ll be leaving paint on the runway.

I know a NYC medical worker who tested positive for Covid two days ago. A hazard of being on the front line despite all the precautions. So far it’s mild symptoms.

Look at the “States”. Notice the # new deaths/Total Deaths is less than 1/4 now for all but the top three states. Amazing.

Covid death risk increases if you have diabetes and/or a high BMI. Pre-existing lung disease. She doesn’t have any of those. Still risky but she doesn’t sound worried.

Trump will have Fauci and Birx declare it is under reasonable control and then end the Federal Subsidies, which the states don’t have the power or printing press to counter.

End this Sunday. Resurrection Day. Give THE TRUMP CURE to anyone who wants it as a preventative.

An unsubstantiated post yesterday said there’s been no hard cases that had sufficient vitamin D. If true, severe cases will go away when people get sunshine. If true, make D3 freely available.

Increase testing IMMEDIATELY on ivermectin and if it works as a preventative, inoculate anyone who wants to get off quarantine (in lieu of THE TRUMP CURE).

Get this over with!

Yep. It absolutely did, and the Supreme Court SPECIFICALLY disavowed and overruled this case. Nice try though.

"The dissent's reference to Korematsu, however, affords this Court the opportunity to make express what is already obvious: Korematsu was gravely wrong the day it was decided, has been overruled in the court of history, and—to be clear—'has no place in law under the Constitution." Trump v. Hawaii, slip op. at 38 (quoting 323 U.S., at 248 (Jackson, J., dissenting).

They didn’t overrule it for 75 years! In fact they repeatedly refused to overrule it over the same period of time. They only recently did as a matter of political correctness.

Now, you are desperately trying to flip the script and brush off the reasoning in Trump v. Hawaii as “political correctness.”

You do understand that it was the “politically incorrect” judges that expressly overruled Korematsu, right? You know, those “politically correct” justices like Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch.

Do you know why Korematsu wasn’t relegated to the trash bin earlier? Because it was universally derided as wrongly decided, and no one needed to overrule it expressly, until it was trotted out by the politically correct Sotomayor.

So it’s patently obvious that you don’t have a clue as to what you are talking about. You got called out on your ignorance, and completely and utterly owned.

You are so terrified of your own shadow and afraid of freedom that you are willing to embrace a decision that was as Constitutionally unsound as Roe v. Wade, because you want to control others. Like it or not, many people aren’t going to bow down to the government and shelter in fear because you are afraid of catching a cold.

You are going to have to learn to deal with that.

Oh, and when you can pass the bar exam, come back and talk to me about being a “legal scholar.”

Oh, I forgot to mention, I guess Justice Scalia wasn’t a legal scholar either, because he wrote in 2000:

“I am optimistic enough to believe that, one day, Stenberg v. Carhart will be assigned its rightful place in the history of this Court’s jurisprudence beside Korematsu and Dred Scott.”

Go back to crying about county line road.
