Infamous “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli claims to be working on a cure for the coronavirus — and he wants to be sprung from prison so he can conduct his research.
In an 11-page scientific paper posted online, the convicted fraudster touted himself as “one of the few executives experienced in ALL aspects of drug development” and denigrated other efforts to come up with treatments for the deadly virus.
“The industry response to COVID-19 is inadequate,” wrote Shkreli, 37.

Oh what a delusional, egotistical idiot that man is. Even if he did develop a vaccine with the way that price-gouging asshole works he would charge $1 billion for each dose.

Just for kicks, I looked it up. Shkreli has a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He’s not an MD, a biochemist, or anything like that.
So what does he know about the biology of this virus? I’m guessing it’s nothing. All he knows is how to turn a buck. If you’re going to release him, might as well release Bill Cosby while you’re at it. At least Cosby could provide pudding to the first responders.

Because we already have 47 people with a cure, and the answer is the same, 18 mos -2 years of testing. What we need is to get rid of the FDA and start trying these out. If none of them work, gve him a set up like Robert Stoud, the Birdman of Alcatraz.
