The actress who played the mother of the kid who got eaten in "Jaws," has passed away by a threat that's becoming more real and dangerous than a great white ... COVID-19.
Lee Fierro -- who portrayed Alex Kintner's mom, Mrs. Kintner, in the 1975 classic film -- has passed away due to complications from coronavirus ... according to Martha's Vineyard Times, which first reported her death. The first "Jaws" was shot on location there in Mass.

How old was she... 150?
"You knew!!!!! You KNEW!!!!!" :::SLAP:::
Nope.......
Then you didn’t see the movie.
“Perhaps that will jog your memory?”
“Nope....”
Some minds are just not able to be jogged.....
Lee Fierro, looks like a nice old lady1 RIP.
They've been violating social distancing norms for decades.
How about having the moderators clean up the headline?
I concur.
*ahem* My mom is 91.
My mothers, sons, sisters, brothers, uncle, contracted the virus
Taken in the prime of her life.
Hahahahahahaha...
I once heard someone describe being eaten by a shark as being Kitnered...
I guess it was, for her, some form of fame.
My cousin’s wife’s brother’s ex-wife’s father who was an extra in “Taxi Driver” died of the Wuhan Flu.. I think. ;-P
I think some of these deaths ( and Im not trying to be disrespectful of the dead or their families) are being treated like alcohol involved accidents.
You can be stone cold sober, and get into an accident. If you have alcohol in the car because you were taking it home from the store, its still an alcohol involved accident.
A 91yo woman dies. She had the virus. Did it kill her?
91. Most of us will probably never see it. And Id hate to think what kind of shape Id be in even if I did.
It’s almost like the musical number in Team America Everyone Has Aids. Now its every death is covid. Keifer Sutherlands mother just died but he had to specify not because of covid. She happened to be 86 and had been battling health problems for a while.
As I recall, she, perhaps the mayor, and a bunch of others were residents of the town in which Jaws was filmed.
I too watch some old movies and as I am watching, will pull up IMDB to verify my suspicions if I recognize a face.
Was watching “Targets” the other night (1968 Peter Bogdanovich directed with Vincent Price). It was pretty bad. But I was scrolling through the cast of characters and saw Mike Farrell listed (Best known for BJ Honeycutt in M*A*S*H). In “Targets” he played the “Man in phone booth”. Too funny. He walked into a phone booth and the sniper shot him. Screen time: Approx. 5 seconds. And even then, you didn’t really see his face.
RIP. She played a great role as a heartbroken mother in that film. I’ll always remember her slapping someone in the film.
