More people are discussing herd immunity as an end game...apparently U.K. wanted to try it but then a modeler told them their hospitals would be over run. The overrunning of hospitals has not been happening there (or here) so they may be taking a second look at it. It’s simple - open up the country but the old and those with serious heart, lung and diabetic conditions should voluntarily social distance.
The factors that makes herd immunity a good concept for this virus - it’s not that lethal (just the flu, bro) and it spreads quickly. This means the social distancing for the vulnerable will be short and we can all get back to normal activities.

That's 0.5% of the population. You'll need to get to 70% to 80% for herd immunity. The percent needed varies on how infectious a disease is.
Meanwhile, HCQ is showing great promise.
I read that HCQ works because it's a zinc ionifier, which allows zinc to be absorbed by cells. The zinc then interferes with the viral replication.
"IF" that is how it works, the OTC supplement Quercetin is also a zinc ionifier. So I theorize that zinc and quercetin supplements together may provide some protection.
It looks like there has been a run on zinc supplements, and I had a little trouble finding quercetin as well. I found both this morning and placed an order.
What I think makes sense:

I think once people are emerging from their homes, there will be dead bodies left behind. Murder, suicide, people unable to get their meds.... or food.
I think the best thing to do would be to get/make a billion doses of HQC -Zpak and then open things up starting with people 50-60 or younger with no comorbidity. Make sure all of health care has access to quick tests. Then ride out the storm.
