NW OH. and Amish country may use amateur epidemiologists for assessments - Acton
I haven’t carried more than $20 in my wallet in at least 10 years.
I buy everything at point of sale with a debit card. Everything I buy online with a credit card.
And all my banking is digital. I haven’t been inside a bank for at least as long as I quit using cash.
But it was not a deliberate transition. It’s just so much easier.
Now days I would expect smart people are making the same transition by the millions.
I dont trust all numbers. I am using my gut - very few healthy people die...therefore it is just the flu, bro.
So few people I know are personally affected by this - I think it is a pile of crap. I might pay attention when I see the media sob stories about a father who lost all four of his children to this scourge - but the media isnt saying this because it isnt happening.
Rush has puzzled over why NY has so many more positives than California considering the volume of flights from China to California.
One possibility is that more Chinese from the Wuhan area settled in NY, so there were more travelers back and forth between NY and the Wuhan area. We often do see concentrations of immigrants from a particular foreign area settled in the same part of the US.
“Multiple patients infected with coronavirus were transferred to the hospital ship Comfort from the Javits Center in New York by mistake”
I don’t believe it was a mistake. More likely NY officials making a deliberate effort to incorporate USNS Comfort into the Corona fight.
Cash I get goes in my wallet. Usually sits there for a week or so. Likely safer then putting your debit card into the little hole and touching the key pad everyone else uses.
Brinks, still driving here.
Various religious groups are going to be hit hard as their spiritual advisors insist on keeping churches, mosques, and synagogues open for services.
CV is moving east to west. Give it a week to change those maps dramatically.
Been spraying and wiping coins and cash.
Spoken like a true liberal.
“Spoken like a true liberal.”
What statement are you referring to?
Using electronic currency is “liberal” now? Though I always carry at least a few hundred dollars around with me, I very rarely actually use it. I don’t even take my wallet out if I can pay with my cell phone. For me, cash is for those rare cases when I really need it. Being a Luddite isn’t a conservative or liberal trait.
There a ton of folks trying like hell to fit their hexagon shaped pieces into a square hole.
Confirmed vs deaths is 2.57%
Confirmed = 277621
Deaths = 7141
Campbell slapped the US hard on our lack of shutting down hair salons and golf courses. I agree with him. It’s disgusting.
